:D Oh Yeah, I get this comment alot too. But I don't care. I just say, "Yep, I spoil her, sleep with her, give her what she wants as long as she deserves it, love her, kiss her, wipe her droolies, butt if necessary, share everything in our house with her, miss work if I have to take care of her when she's sick, heck, I'd probably give her a kidney, I have one to spare, she's a part of me now and always will be....just like my daughter and hubby! And the thing is, what she gives me back is much more! I LOVE spoiling my baby and am proud of it!

I just say *sarcastic tone here* 'Well yeah, of course he is!! What do you expect? He's my son! Wouldn't have it any other way!' And especially if it comes from someone who has an animal and leaves it outside, the answer is MUCH nastier than that, and I'm sure to throw in a couple good ones about how I'd never leave my baby outside, he deserves much better than that, and all animals do!!

I get that a lot too....I just tell them that while I have everything in the world (lots of family, friends, entertainment) I'm all he has and wants...so yeah he's spoiled. Denise

Funny story about this......

About 10 years ago I used to have a Saluki. For those that are not familiar with Saluki's, they are sight hounds and have the same body type as a greyhound, but they are not very common to see. well, I took my Saluki everywhere with me and always got comments from people that did not know about her breed like "...it's just awful that you don't feed that dog". or "Is she sick?", or "you know, it's a crime to not feed a dog". Well after constantly explaining I got kinda tired of it. One day I was at the bank with my dog, and a lady came up to me yelling that she could report me for dog abuse for keeping my dog so skinny. I was so embarrassed and then angry, that I just looked at her and said "but you know, they taste better when their skinny". You could have pealed this woman off the floor and me and my dog laughed all the way home.
