I wish I could have been there for you last night.
As my tears flow freely I can't help but visualizing the big reunion at the bridge. I even saw tears in my husband eyes as he read you email over my shoulder today. Goliath has touched so many hearts.

Deb - I don't know what to say execpt how sorry I am to hear of Goliath's passing. It took all I had to read this post. And now, as tears fall, just remember that he had many friends waiting for him at the bridge. I'm sure he's romping with his daddy & Hannah...All of us on BW felt like we knew him personally from your stories. Thanks for giving us the chance to know him & share him & Jack with us...It's been a rough year and you've held strong. Keep your head up & take care of yourself & Jack. You know if you ever need anything we're all here for you.

I logged on for the first time today and was so sad to read the thread title. Goliath was just a special boy. He looked great for his thirteen years in your post on his birthday. What a wild and wonderful life he led! Every dog should have a life of love and devotion and excitement that Mr. Goliath led.

I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I am at a real loss for words.

Thanks to you and Goliath, I am able to understand exactly how adept those boxers with delayed flashiness can easily steal our hearts.

Your stories of Goliath and his patience, rambunctiousness and playfullness with Jack has made me realize how special our senior boxers are and have inspired me to adopt an older boxer when I am ready to add another to my family.
