SugarsMomma
Boxer Pal
Hi there!
My name is Leanne and I am the proud "momma" of a beautiful three year old white boxer named Sugar. I adopted her from a shelter and apparently the first few years of her life were pretty rough...she was a rescue boxer, and then her last owner just dropped her off at our local SPCA because they didn't have time for her. THEIR LOSS! It was love at first sight for me, and she went home with me right away! I am commited to making sure that the remaining years of her life are as happy as possible!
I am so incredibly lucky to have this beautiful, sweet, silly, loving little clown in my life...we have bonded so tightly that I like to call her my "little magnet"! She is NEVER that far away from me! I am fortunate because she is able to go to work with me and absolutely LOVES playing the role of "therapy dog" (I am a support worker in an assisted living home)...the residents think that she is just the greatest entertainment ever! My gorgeous girl also thinks she is a lapdog, and is always looking for opportunity to crawl up on my lap for a cuddle. She definitely has a bit of an "alpha-female" streak in her and is always on "guard" to make sure that all is well and that nobody messes with me or her home! (But my cat definitely runs her show!
They actually get along great!)
I am very excited to be part of a forum where I can converse, ask questions and gush about my beautiful boxer to other boxer owners who "get it"! We are so incredibly lucky, aren't we? Thanks for letting me be a part of this!
Cheers!
