GDOGS has a bump??need vibes!!!!

While i was giving GDOGS a bath yesterday i noticed a small bump on his left side just below his shoulder about the size of a dime,but in the middle of it looks like a small nipple growing.well it was to late to get to the vets but called his after hours number and he told me to bring him in first thing monday morning.it does'nt seem to bother him when i touch it but i am really concerned.so has anybody else seen anything like what i am describing???so i have been keeping a real close eye on him today as all(3)of the grandkids were over and he thinks he has to watch them all.i know it sounds like i am over cautious but i am really worried.will post after we come back from the vets tomorrow,Thanx in advance for listening and the vibes

Loads of healing and positive vibes going out to GDOGS! When it comes to lumps and bumps, overcautious is a good thing. I hope it's nothing. Please let us know how the vet visit goes.

Atlas had a small bump like that over his eye. The vet looked at it and told me to watch it and if it got any bigger to bring him back in. It finally went away.

Noelani had a lump on her hip that literally looked like a tumor. Her vet said that bumps like that on a dog were the equivilent to bruises on people. It didn't seem to bother her so we kept an eye on it and it started shrinking within a few days, and was gone in about 2 weeks. But I know I would not have rested until the vet said it was okay! I would rather be overcautious than not cautious enough! Would really like to hear what it is after you see the vet. Positive thoughts!!

Well just came home from the vet's and he took a scraping and looked at it and he said its a mast cell tumor,we have it schedualed to be removed next monday and then sent to the pathologist.i am just a total wreck right now.thanx for all your well wishes and vibes.
