Well, they haven't responded to my email yet. I'm just speaking from experience that they don't have many people helping (only one person that had to drive to meet us when we picked her up). They are a very small rescue & I'm surprised they even have a kennel. I don't really know of any other Boxer rescue organizations around so if anyone could make a suggestion, that would be great!!

Allie and I will be at the bash! We went to the one in March, and it was fun. However, I would bring a towel or something, because I know Allie got DIRTY at our last adventure! See you all soon! We are so excited.

I have a question those who live in Franklin. We will be staying overnight since it's such a long trip for us. Are there any places to eat dinner that maybe has outdoor seating where dogs are allowed? I know that there are a few places in Gatlinburg and Knoxville that are like that. I tried to look it up on the dog friendly website, but couldn't find anything on Franklin.

We're excited about coming to the bash and meeting other boxer families. Brutus and Trinity will be so happy!

Pretty much anywhere in downtown Franklin is dog friendly. They just ask that you eat outside (nice tables out there) and pick up the poop! I guess that just goes without saying. There is a Starbucks, McCreary's Irish Pub, Mellow Mushroom (pizza & hoagies) - all with outside seating. I'll do a little digging & try to find some more that are dog-friendly.

That is what I was going to say, downtown Franklin I usually see quite a few doggies. :) When we get our yard fenced, (might not be any time soon) I will see if everyone wants to have a bash then and caravan to my house after for a cook out and boxer party in the back yard! :) How fun would that be?! :) I can't wait for the 25th!

Well, I still haven't heard from MTBR. :( I think they are just too short-handed & busy to do it. I was thinking we could have more of an agenda, but really we can just let the pups play!

I need to ask around & see about some more dog-friendly places. There's a place called Bosco's that's about 15 minutes from the park. I've heard they're dog friendly, but I'm not 100% sure.

Does Bosco's have a patio? I have been there but don't remember seeing one. Fido's is across the street from Bosco's and they have outdoor seating and I always see dogs there. :)
