Found a puss!

AWWW How is the mommy to be? Keep an eye on her when she has her kitties, I don't mean to scare you but this is an experience we just went through. My sister had a pregnant foster and she had 4 kittens and only one survived. The ones that died were malformed, some looked like they had cleft palets (sp?), malformed noses, their skin was peeling off, they had these little sores all over them, including inside their mouths and the Dr said he believed it was from her getting vaccinated when she was pregnant. Just keep a bulb syringe handy when she has the babies. We had one that lived and she is such a sweetie, (her name is Star) but very small for her age. She has none of the problems the other ones had, her mouth is fine, she is actually going to her new home this weekend.

We Have Kitten's!!!

On January 5th we FINALLY did have kittens!!!!!! She woke me up at about 3:30 in the morning! The labor only last about 6 hour's after that and believe me I was so Tired So I felt horrible for her poor little body! She did Great and I really didn't have to do anything! She had 2 they are the cutest thing's in the world and when I get my camera back from my mother in the States I will post pictures! They both look just like her but with longer hair! And one has Grey fur covering one eye!

They are a lot of work but my 2 year old help's out a LOT! He is so gentle and is always trying to sleep next to the box! He pet's miss kitty and tell's her he loves her! Don't worry he is not allowed to pet or pick up the kitten's just yet! We already have good homes for them if we are in Germany for that long but we probably won't be! So these kitty's are going back to the great U.S. of A! Both kitty's are girls there names are Mayvin (babe)! and Eva (love)!

The babes!

All is well here! It is looking like we are going to be going home to the states with all my fuzzies in tow! My hubby asked me what I was gonna do If I had to decide between them and I told him I just wouldn't go without ALL of them...SO THERE! They are all coming with me leaving one here would be like giving one of my kid's away....it is NON negotiable!

The babies are very cute they are starting to move a lot more! I never realized how much work it was going to be but I have great neighbors so whenever I leave to go shopping and such they come down and tend to them! Sophie doesn't like that she isn't getting all of our attention (my husband calls her the cuddle slut because she insist's on your attention 100% of the time) but she does lay in the box with them all the time she still cleans Laila and she has taken to Eva much more than to Mayvin but Laila is better with Mayvin than with Eva so it measures out!

Thats wonderful you can bring them all with you,I know you can't wait to get back home!Thats wonderful they are taking care of the babies so go.When will you get to come home, do you know yet & will they all fly in with you. Hanley

We should be leaving soon!

But The kittens may be to young to fly yet! If that is the case I have a neighbor who has offered to care for mom and babes until they are 8 week's and able to fly! I don't know what I would do without them now! It will be depressing if they can't come with us at the same time. But as long as they are safe and healthy I don't care how long I have to wait!
