for those with more than one boxer, do they fight over toys?

I went from buying them toys every week to just giving them water bottles to play with. The still have balls and ropes and kongs and anything else they find amusing, but water bottles seem to do the trick for us. I put so many out for them that they never have time to argue over who gets what. On the other hand, when it comes to bones......no thats a different story. I can put 4 rawhide bones out and Luke will end up with them ALL! Matter of fact as I write this Luke has found a Wendy's ketchup packet and his throwing it around in the air and squishing it in his mouth! I should take it away but it might be hilarious to watch it bust in his mouth! Im watching him closely so he cant swallow it! LMAO! He is nuts!!!!!!!!!

But now Semmi has developed a hiding technique that mommy can't even crack. Somewhere in my house are two large rawhides, three smalls ones and a busy bone.[/QUOTE]

LOL! My DH thinks that aliens abducted a bully stick from our living room this week. It's hidden *really*well.

My two are the same as you've all said with the toys and chewy things...there can be any number of whatever it is, but apparently only one is "the good one". I hold the Kongs for them so a war doesn't break out. And empty gallon jugs are as much fun as empty soda bottles, plus they have a handle. Harry thinks that the world is his toy box on trash night when there is a recycling bin full of "toys" in front of every house.

I do not have any fighting here either, but whatever Abby and Xavier have you can bet Max wants! They keep me entertained just watching them...It`s like a 3 ring circus pretty much 24/7 and I love it!

Oh yes, our Lexi and Ruby fight over the same toy too but it's not like they are really fighting. I think they are more like playing to see who can get the toy. It's like "keep away". There are times when Lexi is quietly sitting down and chewing on a toy. Ruby will see LExi and will decide to try to take the toy. She steps backwards a few steps, eyes Lexi, lifts her right paw like Karate Kid and runs and pounces on her. And yes, she makes a noise too, which startles Lexi. This startles Lexi, which makes her drop the toy. Ruby then grabs the toy and runs w/ it and Lexi chases her. It really is hilarious. When Ruby starts her karate Kid thing, our whole family sits back and just watches. It's really entertaining.
Are your boxers actually fighting? We usually buy only one toy, which keeps them entertained for awhile. Although, when I give them a beef shank, they ALWAYS get their own bone.

Good luck.

Our two, Ned & Rubina are exactly like that too.

Hey, it's no fun playing by yourself though right? :)

Our two play extremely well, they will actually put the toy in the other one's faces so they can get it easily...they play fair :) mostly.
