I just started giving both my boxers 1 tbs plain yogurt. In each of there meals. one in the morning and one at dinner. It help a little bit, but I guess that it is different for each dog. They really like the taste of it in there food. I would just stick with plain though, i wouldn't feed them vanilla or anything.

BUT...what is your Boxer is allergic to yogurt, is there anything else anyone knows might work?

Oh my, I am so glad you made this post. Lately I have noticed that Lady has been farting all the time. Almost everday and it stinks really really bad. I am feeding her Chicken Soup. I wonder what I can do to save my nose too.

I have to add 2Tbsp of yogurt to each meal in order to see any results, I have some really gassy pups !!! They still fart, but the smell isn't nearly as bad

BUT...what is your Boxer is allergic to yogurt, is there anything else anyone knows might work?

Health food shops sell Dairy Free Acidopholis & Bifidus in powder or capsule form. I guess if yoghurt is OK these would be too????
I assume the milk is the cause of the allergy. Also perhaps you could try sheep or goat milk yoghurt.

Garvin has much less gas since I started feeding home prepared.

Maxwell doesn't really have gas problems. He is twelve weeks old. Do they get it when they get older?

I am feeding Nutro Ultra. I also put a tablespoon of plain natural no sugar added Yogurt on his evening meal. He just loves it.

Wow, I am with you all on the puppy farts! Drake is nearly 8 weeks old, and 12 pounds and man he could clear a stadium all on his own! I got the idea of using yogurt from a previous post, and finally yesterday went and picked some up! Drake loved it, and well so far so good! Thanks everyone, would have never thought to try yogurt had I not read it on here!
