Boxer Buddy
I was just wondering if eating June Bugs was dangerous for the dogs. Gracie May loves them. It seems that every time we go out it is an exercise in the leave it command.
, your question reminded me of a dog we had years ago, she used to hang around under the bug zapper waiting for the june bugs to fly in, fry, die, and drop. Then she'd eat them. I guess she preferred them cooked! Vet said nothing to worry about as long as the bug zapper was well out of the dog's reach!Harley hasn't discovered June bugs yet.. but we used to have a cat who would spend a good half hour batting down June bugs and gobbling the up, only to come inside and throw them up in a gooey pile for me...
I hope Harley doesn't develope a tast for them, thats the last thing I need is to be pulling dead wet June bugs out of his jowels! - or having them wiped off on me! ...Yuck!
