This is a recipe me and my mother always made to take to any gathering, the worst thing about it was there were never any leftovers :(

2 large tubs of sour cream
2 packets powdered ranch dip
1 lb shredded cheese (always used the pre-shredded, the whole bag)
1-2 bunches green onions chopped
1 tomato diced
as many jalapenos as you would like, we always used a lot

Just mix the ranch dip into the sour cream and spread on a large platter
Layer the cheese, onions, tomatoes, and jalapeons all over the top.
Serve with tortilla chips.

Another super tasty and easy dip is:

1 small tub sour cream
2 blocks cream cheese
1 can rotel
1 lb sausage browned and drained

Combine all ingredients in a skillet until cheese is melted.
Serve with tortilla chips.

I was putting a gift basket together the other day for a birthday present, and I found some candied jalapenos. Have you ever had them? The woman working said they are spicey and sweet at the same time. I got them for the basket, I hope they are good!

I make them all the time and posted the recipe. They are wonderful but like she said they are hot and sweet at the same time. We love them.
