Yes all our dogs sleep in our bed, 2 boxers and sheppard/chow mix. They might not stay there all night but they don't leave because you want them to, they leave because they want to. Our 8 year old angel Somba will have to go to the bridge tomorrow. So sad, she is my baby. So our bed is going to feel empty tomorrow night.

Does your boxer sleep in your bed?

You bet they do! My husband isn't too thrilled though. He gets pushed out of the bed.
Reading the other posted just made me laugh how much we are all alike. My family thinks its crazy to have them in your bed, but I love it.
When we first got Lexi I slept on the couch next to her crate and every time she cryed I had to get her to quiet down, so as you guessed I didn't get much sleep. I finally decided to bring her to bed with us after she was somewhat potty trained. I have a sleigh bed so its high and she couldn't jump off it at first but now she can. She usually sleeps through the night but might get up once but I always hear her right away. Mandi starts out sleeping on our bed they goes to the floor on her comforter and then towards the morning she comes back to bed. And oh does she snore and the gas from both of them is just awfull, but I just love those puppy kisses in the morning.
Mandi is great at getting the kids up too.

We sleep with HIM!

I was warned, nonoicon, when he was 6 weeks old and still, I did not listen! Ever since then he allowes ME to sleep with HIM. :p I do have a bed for him that we put next to ME on the floor, comes with a pillow and blanket and whatever else he feels like draggin with him. He snores louder than my husband.. oddly enough, I'll kick my husband out for snoring before I will him. It calms me, it soothes me when Im sad and keeps me warm when its cold. Lately, hes decided hes too special to JUMP on the bed, kingicon, and if I want HIM to accompany me.. I have to pick him up and put him in bed! Not only that, but we have an "Elvis" pillow and a special blanket just for him. Although he kicks off HIS blanket cuz he would rather HOG our pillows and STEAL our covers! What a little spoiled baby! And for god sakes, DONT get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, you'll be sleeping on the couch! I wouldnt have it any other way! :D I cant help it, I love him!

necking

I know exactly what dsemyck is talking about. Buster will lay his head right on my wife's neck. If you try and move him, he'll just get back up there in a minute! One night he was walking on her head trying to find a good spot!

When I am ready for bed, I say,"Time for bed" and Bzxter runs up the stairs and is half asleep on the end of the bed where I have his blanket spread out on top of my duvet cover. IT's funny though ebcause sometimes he is tired and just goes up on his own, epxecting me to follow. If I don't, he comes back to the landing in the middle of the stairs and stares at me until I tell him to go back to bed. He snuggles with me all night until I force him out to go on our monring runs!

Completely Boxer Crazy
This is such a hilarious topic. Clara does hog the blanket....but luckily she doesn't sleep on the pillows. She sleeps right between my husband and I. And no, you can't move her.....she doesn't growl but she'll let you know she was comfortable right where she was. She's always slept with us because we have a tall bed and she would wake us up when she needed to go out. Now, she sleeps through the night! Such a good girl.

Yes - I have wondered if I was the only one crazy enough to sleep with their Boxer - Brutus is still just a pup, but sleeps with me every night. However, that is just the tip of the iceberg - I have a queen size bed and most nights I have my husband, my son (3 1/2 yrs. old), my daughter (1 1/2 yrs old), myself and Brutus all SNUGGLED (compacted is more like it) up for the night. :D

I must admit, Jaeger sleeps with us. He just whined way too much at night. Sometimes, it is us, Jaeger and one of the kids. I think our queen size bed is getting to small:LOL: Oh well. Jaeger is too cute to make him sleep on the floor.

My baby has slept with us since she was a pup. I do have to admit, I miss how she used to fit between the pillows because now she trys to hog the bed! I do love her cuddling though! lovicon
