couldn't sleep without my baby!!

Sammie has slept with me every night since I got her (except when I visit my dad...his retirement place doesn't allow animals). When I visit him, I can hardly sleep without her!:(

....and I have a great way to get (or recapture) a spot on the bed. When she stands up & turns around in circles (around once an hour), I use that time to quickly scoot over...so I'm not hanging off the edge of the bed.

As far as the snoring.....it always reminds me of my friend's mother. I asked her once, after a slumber party, how she could sleep thru her husband's snoring. She told me that when he fell asleep & started snoring, she knew "all was well with the world". And that's true. If there were someone outside my home or something wrong....Sam wouldn't be asleep! So, when I hear her snoring, I know it's safe to relax & fall asleep.

When she's not feeling well, she tends to sleep on the living room couch..... I can't sleep at all. If I can't get her to come in & snuggle, then I have to join her on the couch.

Nor does she try & get me up too early. We both get up to go potty & then go back to bed. If she does think it's time to play, I just do a quick, little "growl". I discovered this trick accidentally (actually, I was groaning about having to get up). But, I guess she took it as an order from the pack leader to sleep a little longer! Anyway, it worked.

I can't imagine sleeping any other way.......especially since I usually use her for a pillow! Those of you that haven't taken advantage of a snuggley boxer, don't know what you're missing!

My Quila slept with me every night, but always 'asked permission' first. She would come up to the edge of the bed and sit her face down on the edge (you know, the jowles would spread out, and she'd give me such a pitiful look). How can you turn that down?:)

Does your boxer sleep in the bed

Mac has a bed, on my side of the bed my husband and I cover him up and kiss him goodnight. Sometimes we can tell he wants to sleep with us, luckly that does not happen to often. Mac takes up most of the bed, he starts at the foot, and ends up in the middle of us with feet stretch out. My husband and I are both hanging off the bed by morning.

Of course Clara sleeps with the hubby and I....who could resist them cuddling up next to you. Talk about feeling loved. She's slept with me since I've had her. Since I have a tall bed, she doesn't jump down, nor does she go to the bathroom on the bed. She simply wakes us up by nudging us! Such a good puppy

Buster is 10 weeks old and we've had him a week and a 1/2. We started out the 1st night letting him sleep with us and nothings changed yet. I tried putting him in his crate one night after he fell asleep. About 15 minutes later he woke up and started crying. :( Well, you guessed it! I got up and got him and put him right back on the bed. He sleeps right between us and he stretches out as much as he can. He's only about 12lbs right now, but as he gets bigger, we may have to get a bigger bed!

Wrigley sleeps right on top of my wife's pillow, he wraps his body around the top of her head for most of the night. That is fine when he is 10 weeks, I winder what he is going to do when he gets bigger. Every once in a while I wike up and he has his head laying across my neck. Before we got him we both agreed that he would sleep in the crate at night, and the second that he came home we both knew that he would never spend one night in that crate. I am only hoping that when he gets full grown he will sleep more towards the bottom, if he isn't on top of my wife's head or on my neck he is right in the middle of us, up by our faces and I have a feeling that is probably going to be where he is going to stay. :) That is fine with both of us.

I let Mabel sleep with me - me, Opus (the cat), and Mabel all sleep better this way. The first night I stayed strong and kept her in her crate. It sounded like something from the Exorcist was in that crate. So now we all sleep in the bed - the key word being sleep - which wasn't happening when Mabel was crated.

Boxer in Bed

Natasha always slept with me until I started living with my boyfriend, now there's not enough room ! She now has her own room (queen bed) which is our spare room, and she sleeps there or on the floor (my side)on a dog bed. It really depends on the time of year . Winter= queen bed Summer=her bed on the floor.

I have to say that Aus doesn't sleep with us-we sleep with him! He thinks he owns our bed. He picks his spot, spreads out, and if one of us so much as moves and "disturbs" him, he growls at us!

I couldn't have said it any better! Barron does not growl, yet he lets out this huge sigh to let me know he is not happy that I have moved him while he is sleeping comfortably sleepicon and I am falling out of the bed.

And Like Quila, Barron asks permission to get up on the bed, as well.
