armohanson

Boxer Buddy
Both my Missy and my Bella take a mouth full of food (dry Canidae) and walk over to the livingroom with it and let it fall out of their mouths and onto the carpet. They then eat all the little pieces off the carpet. Neither one stands at the food bowl and eats. They go back and forth until they're done eating. Strange behavior? LOL

kelseighgirl

Completely Boxer Crazy
Isnt that crazy!!??
Kelseigh use to do that but now she usually keeps it in her bowl.
If I give her something new that she has never had before she will take it to the living room put it on the floor and do a little dance with it. We call it the welcome dance. This goes on several minutes before she will eat it. wackicon

RubyDoo

Boxer Booster
Sometimes, when we are all watching tv, Ruby will run in the kitchen to get a mouth full of food. She brings it back into the family room and will drop it on the floor in front of the tv. Then, she will share her snack with Sohpie. Ahhhh !! How cute!

Sidda1018

Super Boxer
Sidda, our boxer, does this too. But there are 4 little dogs running along behind her picking up the trail. I guess this is kind of a game with them or maybe the food is more appealing when covered in boxer slobber....lol.

:p

Lola eats her food at the dish, but she takes all doggie biscuits, treats, and other goodies into the living room on the carpet to eat.
She also does some crazy dance with the treats and throws them up in the air!!!
We call it the cookie dance!!
Silly Boxers...gotta love emfoolicon
Lola's mom,
Missy

Kylie_L

Super Boxer
Our male dosent do it but our female does, but the cats wait until she drops her dry food on the floor and they make a mad dash to chase the food around the living room floor.

Mama_Zookeeper

Boxer Insane
My fur babies both do this as well!! I don't get it and am very used to it now!

My 16 month old son, Matthew has learned to get a hand full of food and take it to wherever the pups are laying down. He puts it on the carpet in front of them and laughs when they eat it up...then goes running for more! (He also helps himself to a kibble or two nonoicon !!) Chicken Soup for the Doglovers Soul is ok for all babies, right!?!
