Bad News!!

Well we found out today that he might have to have a feeding tube put in.
Sorry for not keeping all of you up to date I've just Been out of my mind this is day 3 that hes been gone(at the vet) and I just want him home with me not in a cage!
I'm so worried out of my mind! I had to take Bailey yesterday to get MEDS for her cough. I cant seem to keep them for being sick! He was doing so good and now theres a chance that we might have to put him down. That is the last thing I want to do but.... If I have to do it for his own good I will. I dont want him to hurt any more. And if he doesn't eat (has not eat in 3 days) I will go through with the surgery. But my boyfriend and I talked last night and both decided that if he doesn't inprove in a week we are gonna have to for his sake. I don't want to lose him. He's just a baby! And thats in the back of my mind a puppy that can't tell me how bad he hurts.I just don't want him to suffer! I want to thank you all for your input and for keeping Dozer in your thoughts . HE NEEDS ALL THE SUPORT HE CAN GET!!! Keep him in your prayers please. Thank you for all your kind words! I'll let you know what is gonna happen.

I am soo very sorry to hear that Dozer is still not home and not doing well.
Do you think Bailey isn't eating because Dozer isn't there?

Well bailey is eating she is just coughing (i dont think its cause dozer isn't here we have 2others with her I think its a cold) she's been wakeing us up at about 7 ...every moring and dont stop coughing till about 9. But she is doing alot better her MEDS seem to help as for Dozer I dont realy know.... how he is gonna do. The vet called about 6 and said that they up his meds he still hasn't eatin and wont walk. I have to call in the morning. My boyfriends borther has the litter mate of Dozer... His name is Monty I get to watch him tonight case he went out for st.pattys day. So that kinda ups my mood a bit but its still not my Dozer! I will let you guys know how hes doing in the moring.

Our prayers are with you and your family.
I have a "off the topic" question.
How do you all manage the expense?
I know in the past with our boxer(waiting at the bridge for us too) we had high expenses that we could manage, but with every thing that is rising within dog's breeds it could get worse.
I have heard of so many pet insurances. Some articles same it is money being thrown to waste. Others say that it is a very needed option.
Give me some advice. Which do you think is a wise choice?

Your prayers must be working!!!!! TO Karen our expenses aren't that bad.
We manage! We don't have kids yet (human kids HA HA) So that helps.
We brought Dozer home!!!! Well we took him in on TUES. and he came home on friday. I have to feed him 3 times a day with this really fating diet cause he just wouldn't eat for the vets.So the vet call me fri. and said they got him to eat alil. bit not much but maybe if we came and got him it would lift his spirits a bit. And it did !!!! We sat in the room with the vet for so long I have to work his legs to build musle mass back up. He has none he is so weak. He still cant hold himself up and when we take him potty we have to hold him. I dont think he likes that much when he goes #2! HEHE. Im so happy that hes home guys!!!! Only thing that is hard is keeping up with his MEDS. So many of them. Im just so happy that hes eating!!! HE didnt eat for 4 days he had to be on an IV. Im so thankful for my vets. They are life safers!!!! Im so glad i didnt have to put him down! that would have broke my heart! We are still not in the clearing but the out look is pretty good. As long as he keeps up the work and starts walking soon. Keep up the prayers !!!! Thank you so much all

I just read your post tonight, Im sorry i wasnt here to add my vibes to dozer from the begining. I havent been on as much these last few days. I have a 5 mo old boy that isnt doing to good also right now. I will keep dozer and you in my prayers. Good luck to you, and dozer keep up the good wor

Sooo Much Better Today

Hi all!! He still cant use his back legs but......HE IS PLAYING!!!!
I put a bunch of blankets on the floor and HEs useing his front legs to go in circles HE so funny all the dog are playin with him. And they are being very gentle kinda weird! Its so cute I wise you guys could see how much better hes doing. And hes been eating every thing. Such a good thing. HE must have been very starvin for not eating for a few days!!! Im so happy I could scream!! Thank you all for your support!!!! you all have been a huge help!!
Kida makes me feel like my boyfriend & me & dozer are not alone in this!!!
