Well, my husband now has his own bed, because Hank said so. It just got to be too much for all of us in the bed together. I also have an American Eskimo that is almost 7, and a lab-mix 2 yrs old. So, me and my family all have our own sleeping quarters: my bed! No sense in trying to keep them off the furniture, they'll be on it when you're not there anyway. Good luck!

Boxer's are people too!

Before we brought Boomer home we had the talk. Are we going to let the dog on the furniture. My answer to my husband was, How are we going to keep him off. Boxer's are people too and people set on the furniture

CHamp isn't allowed on the bed, the couch, anywhere. He has his own bed and his crate. Most of my friends that have animals look at me like I'm mean because I don't let him all over the place, but I just grew up that way. We never alllowed our dogs on the couches when I was a kid, so that's just how it is now, and BF is fine with it too. I sometimes wish I could bring him up on the couch to snuggle, but that's a recipe for disaster if I start that now.

There was never even a question of whether the dog will be on teh furniture between me and my fiance because he knew the answer was yes and if he had a problem he could sit on the floor but he didn't have a problem with it and agreed with me on it

There is no doubt that my dogs are allowed on the furniture. I cant let my babies lay anywhere else. They dont have their own bed. Just ours. So I guess they do have a bed. We even had to buy another bed. We had a queen but that was not big enough. Thought about a california king, but we needed more room than that.In the end we got another queen bed, and put the 2 queens together. We have four dogs and they love it.

Tyson dosent even attempt to go on the furniture, so i guess his first five owners didnt allow this, but he did like eating furniture lets see now he has eaten a letter box flap, conservatory suite, table and chairs, doors, door frames, wicker suite, kitchen cupboards, my car roof lining when left for two minutes while i went in a shop.
