We allow Roxie on the bed only. She has 2 of her own beds to sleep on also. We dont allow her on the couch because she sits right on people and takes up all of the room. But I love waking up to my little girl in bed.

We just bought a leather living room set and yes they get to be on that and they are also allowed on our bed. DH told me today that we'll have to get a twin bed to put at the foot of the king bed for me to sleep on. 
That way him and the 2 dogs can sleep without me. I told him that was a great idea and then maybe I could actually get a full nights sleep for a change. :D

I have an issue with Jackie being on the furniture, even though she still does it sometimes, I try teach her not to, I do how ever let her sleep with me sometimes like when its rainning or thunderstorms she's scared of those....

Mine go on the bed, couch, and pretty much wherever they feel like it. Well, I guess we know who runs this house (and it's definately NOT me)!

Not the bed...
I'm a huge fan of cuddling up with Vegas on the couch, but I draw the line when it comes to my bed. She has her own bed that's right next to mine and every night she puts her paws up on my bed for a good night hug and then settles down in her bed. When she was a pup, I allowed her on my bed and once she got bigger, I wondered if I had made a mistake and didn't think I would be able to break the habit. Turns out that I wasn't giving her enough credit... it took 2 nights for her to get comfortable having her own bed and she hasn't made a fuss since. I love having her close, but it felt like I was washing the sheets every other day and given that I'm single, I was worried about how she would react when I finally brought a guy home. I like this arrangement much better....
