Do you have any wierd habits??

For the longest time, i would always check behind the shower curtain when i got home to make sure nobody was in there....weird!

If I go to the bathroom at night and the shower curtian is closed, I have to open it for fear that someone is behind it! Then I make sure it is pulled back to one end so you can see in the shower.

I go to the bathroom with the light off at night for fear that someone can see inside.

Ooh there's another weird thing about me! The simple tough of putting metal in my mouth gives me the shivers (no I don't have any fillings!) I have no idea why I have this reaction. In fact I cannot sit at a table with someone who uses their teeth on their forks...brrr I'm getting the shivers right now.

Ever since I had braces, I cannot stand to scrape my teeth against anything metal. If I hear or see someone do it, it just gives me the willies! I can't stand it! Sometimes if I think about it too much, I have to use plastic silverware for a while.

I thought of a few more. I do not touch anything in a public bathroom with my bare hands! I use my foot to flush the toilet, or toilet paper then toss it in mid flush. After washing my hands, I dry them first, then use the paper towel to turn the water off. (I've gotten many weird looks from this.) If you have to pull the door open I use a paper towel then throw it away in the nearest trash bin. If it's a push door, I use my foot.

I will not sit on the toilet seat in any public restroom! I'll either line the seat with toilet paper, use the seat covers or squat if I have to.

Same goes for any door handle, railing, money....I'll either not touch it, or use my sleeve. With money, I make sure I don't touch my face, eyes and mouth and wash them when I get the chance.

K...so....yea...I'll be dreaming of the men in white coats dragging me off to the loony bin tonight. :D

These are all too funny! So I'm sure people will laugh at my quirks too....

I am a compulsive alarm checker too, even though I KNOW I set it. And I consistently wake up before it goes off anyway....

I like to keep my food separate on the plate too. I'm not quite as bad as ssleighter, but.... separate is better. And I eat food separately too, starting always with vegetables because I like them the least.

I always eat my French fries in threes (sometimes twos, NEVER alone), matched up by size. I never even realized this until a few years ago when I was one on of my first dates with my now-ex boyfriend and he cracked up when I started eating.

And I am a lip balm FREAK! I always have it with me. For the rest of you out there, thorough testing has convinced me that Kiehl's lip balm is THE best!

Jeans joins one of us wierd ones!! I too always take the package behind the first one I don'tknow why, always a new glass or mug too. The toilet paper thing too, even in other peoples houses I change it to hang the other way!!

When I use a public washroom, I wash my hand and open the door with my sleeve or paper towel. Love the washrooms without doors now. I also use my credit card, money is sooo dirty!

Heres one I do, when I buy cold cuts from a deli I have to watch the person behind the counter for awhile to make sure they don't touch themselves or anything before I'm served or I make them change their gloves!!! I watched one girl cleaning the windows of the deli counter with windex and then serving people!

YES! the TP!!! Always has to go over the roll! And I have been known to change it at people's houses too!!!:D

Hello, my name is Robin and I am an alarm clock checker too!!!!

I hate public rest rooms!!! BUT, if I must, I will not sit...Unless Absolutley necessary (in that case line with t.p)and always flush with my foot!!!!

Toilet paper hangs over the roll not from under or I will change it.
The salt and pepper shakers, wherever they are should be in that order...salt n pepper....never pepper n salt.

BTW, when the order form comes out for the white jackets...I will take a medium!!! (heheheh)

I'm not too bad, I don't care that much about germs, I am not a checker of anything.
I have a weird pealing/picking habbit though! If anyone had sunburn and is pealing I have to peal it. My hubby hates it. I am bad on myself, I peal and pick constantly, skin/sunburn, if I have a scab or dry skin I will pick at it constantly. Grose, I know!

I am the same in publuic restrooms, papertowel to turn off faucets and to open door to leave. ever watch how many people go straight fron the stall and out the door putting their germs all over the knob? Also in the kitchen I wash my hands constantly especiaaly when dealing with meat, after touching trash cans, dog bowls ,Etc. Must be the nurse in me....But then again I let my kids play in mud puddles...

Jean, your coffee and cream story just made me think of another that I do! If I'm pouring a glass of pop, the pop goes in first then I add ice. If ice is in the glass and pop is poured on top the pop goes flat and tastes awful. I can totally tell the difference in taste. Unless I can make it myself, I never drink pop at someone else's house because most people put ice in first. :D

I do this too! Also, If I am visitng someone and I use their bathroom, I will "Fix" the TP so that it is hanging over the top, if it not already.

When I was about 5 years old my Nan told me that "When Toilet Paper is hanging over the top it brings good luck, if its under the bottom it welcomes bad things"

That stuck!
