You might want to think about making sure the bathroom door is closed. Dogs don't always understand when we just need to be left alone. And if you are pushing away it does look like boxing to her. She probably just wants to help.
Ignoring works good around here. Or a stern voice. But consistency is the best tool you can use. If you don't want her thinking people food is ok, don't give it to her period. If you see her eyeballing something the baby has, I would point my finger and say NO very sternly and tell her to go lay down.
The absolute worst thing that can happen is for your husband to come home and suddenly DOMINATE the dog. Your husband has been gone a long time and will practically be a stranger to the dog. You did the right thing by telling him not to do that and your reasoning was perfect also. It isn't fair to have him come home and suddenly your pup is always going to listen to him and not you because he decided to pin him once and show him who was boss. However, if you want to show dominance.. it'd be a natural thing. It's in a dogs nature to show who's dominate in the pack, you may want to consider showing Daisy that YOU are the dominate one and not her.
Someone posted before that since you've been giving her alot of time outs that might be creating a problem also. They're like kids.. my kids like to create problems and I've always said bad press is always better than no press. My kids act up because it gets them attention bad or good. IMHO, I'd stop giving her time outs and start giving her more love.
I've been a young military mother and wife of a deployed spouse, I've been there done that. If you let it get to you all the time it will harm you in the end. Now this is my opinion and I am not in any way saying this is definitely you as I don't know you.. but it sounds to me like you are making mountains out of molehills. You are letting too many small things get to you and eventually those small things will force themselves into big things and everything will explode. Take a few deep breaths and remember, it could definitely be ALOT worse!
