anyone out there from Indiana?
I have looked over the food analysis website and Chicken Soup is the only food on there that I have been able to find locally. That's not even very highly regarded. I don't know where to find any of the other brands. I've tried grocery stores, pet stores, farm supply stores, etc.
I hate to tell ya'll I feed mine Iams, which I always believed to be good food, until I found this site. My vet has never said that it wasn't a good food and neither of my boys has ever had issues.
So, I'm a bit confused.
Thanks for the info.

. He's a very little boy for his age (13 months), and maybe 45 pounds. I want to make sure we are giving him the very best.

I've been feeding Tatum Wellness the last 2 months-before that he was on Chicken soup which he did great on until I finally got a bag with the formula switch and then he wouldn't touch it?! My little man is about 18 months and is only 55lbs. He is so tiny compared to other males!! I like him that way since he thinks he's a little lap dog:)

We originally had Rex on Puppy chow (what the breeder fed)... gross! Within days after bringing him home he wasn't eating hardly at all. I researched foods and then chose Blue Buffalo (easiest to get of the "good" stuff) After 2 weeks of barely eating, Rex was looking like a rescue dog. You could see all his ribs and his hips. My family kept insisting he wouldn't starve himself... well, you wouldn't believe that if you saw him. Anyway, I started a thread on the BW "BARF" forum asking about the raw diet and decided to give it a try. We have now been "raw" for 2 weeks and Rex looks GREAT! He has put on weight, his coat is getting softer, and he "wolfs" down his meals. A raw diet is a little more work... more prep time, and more clean up... but coming from a mom who was wondering if her 10 wk old was ever going to eat more than 1/2 cup of food a day... it's WELL worth the effort!

PS... if I ever choose to go back to kibble I would feed Canidae

My two were on Chicken Soup until they changed how they processes their food. Went to Timberwolf Organics but man! their gas was nasty..so nasty in fact, I would literally dry heave..and it takes a lot for that to happen. Took them off that quick.

Went to Canidea and they are doing great on it. I add a dollop of plain low-fat yogurt into both of their feedings. And they get cooked chicken and any left over veggies from dinner (in moderation)

Keeper is over 3 years old and he eats Pinnacle. He eats anything but this has been the best for him and he barely has gas. We also buy treats from the vet's office that are natural and don't cause any smell. Thank goodnes! Beggin Strips are no good.

Elsa is going to be a year old in one week, and she has been on Canidae for over 6 months now. I plan on switching her to Innova-Evo when she reaches 18 months..(high protein levels in innova..) She's been doing great on Canidae, with harder and less stools, they used to be runny and gross. She also has significantly less gas!!! Biiiigg factor here..:)
