I'm so very sorry about Sabastian :( You did the right thing by your wonderful boy. Sabastian will have many other wonderful Boxers with him right now at the Rainbow Bridge and he will watch over you always.

Oh no.................I am so sorry to hear about Sebastian:( I was thinking about him today and was waiting for your update, i'm sorry it's not what you/we expected.

Please know your baby is not alone at the rainbow bridge. He has many of our angel baby's that are all waiting to take him under their wings until you are together again.

I want to thank all of you for your incouragement. You don't know how much your helping my family get through this. I'm so glad to have been able to find this site and know that even though bastian is no longer here I can still read your posts about your baby's and be encouraged to maybe someday get another boxer. If we do it'll be a long long time from now. No other dog will ever replace sabastian, he was special indeed. Thank You all and God Bless !

By the way, I wanted you all to know that the people that gave us bastian when he was 4 weeks old are checking with my vet to see if this is genetic and decided against anymore breeding to hopefully stop it from happening again. A couple of bastians brother and sister are experiencing the same symptoms bastian had, so there gona get all the Boxers checked to be safe.

Nothing can dull the pain or replace Sabastian. But as a boxerlover, dont forget all the lost souls in our rescue missions. Only you will know when you are ready. But for some of them, (in shelters) there time is running out also. Just a thought. It took us a year to get over the loss of Nicki and move on to our Micah. Your baby will never be forgotten and I hope God mends your heart quickly.

I am so sorry for your loss. I just picked up this thread this morning and I am now trying to type with lots of tears in my eyes. Just know that you are in my thoughts. And remember that Sebastian is running and playing like crazy with all of the other angel babies at the bridge--waiting to thank you for all you did for him with kidney beans, woo-woos and lots of boxer kisses.
