I feel really mean as I haven't dared take him out since New Years day through fear of him acting the fool. When he goes in the garden you have to get him in as soon as he's done his business or he starts leaping about then holding is leg out again. :(

We were back at the vets on Saturday for them to check how he's doing.

She's cut down his dose of rimadyl (was on x1 100mg tablet a day and now on x1.5 50mg tablet a day) as she thinks it might stop him feeling ok and trying to leap about as much. Still not to take him out for walks as he leaps too much :(
We have to go back this coming Saturday for them to see how he is then :(
She said she's pretty sure now it's a ligament injury and if it gets no better then they'll put him under and have a look :(

Back to the vets tomorrow, so far bill stands at £78. How come they always end up being just over your excess so it's not worth claiming?

Wish us luck guys, he seems ok on it this week although it looks a bit stiff still. I'll be forever paranoid now everytime he larks about :(

Final bill was £101.28 so not too bad.
The vet we saw today said he thought it was a muscle strain and Casper can go out for short 10 minute walks and to continue not letting him spring about  No off lead exercise for another couple of weeks though :(
He gave us some more Rimadyl, still 50mg but only 1 per day now.
