Smokey is almost 3, and has only lifted his leg once. And it wasn't to a tree. It was in the snow! He cracks me up.

5 1/2 mo and squatting, but once in while lately lifts his leg. Still prefers to squat though. An owner of a beautifule great dane at the park said this was common with danes as well.

We rescued a 2 year old boxer about a year ago. He was a squatter, but low and behold he recently decided to lift. Personally, I liked the squat b/c the lift is all over the place - mark this mark that - stop here stop there.

Max is 2.5 and he squats to relieve himself and lifts to mark his territory.

Zeus is almost 13 months old and he always lifts his leg. I have to be careful when he goes out with our beagle because he tends to lift his leg when she is walking past him and you guessed it she gets a pee shower. So gross!!!

Toby still does. Most everyone on this site says it is normal. It has alot of advantages. He won't kill off your expensive landscaping.
Don't worry about it. It's not a big deal.

Rocky is 17 months old and a squatter all the way! A couple of weeks ago we were out walking and a couple of kids saw him peeing and started laughing and saying he pees like a girl...my husband yelled "Hey, no one watches you pee, perverts!"...these kids almost fell off their bikes they were laughing so hard, they still love to pet Rocky whenever we bring him out!

spike lifts his leg all the time now and he is 11 months on the 14th he did it on and of when he was 6 months i think it is to do with the las a apso my mom owns he is 7 and very doment you cant walk him down the street without him lefting his leg at every lampost fence wall and other dogs for that mater

Still Squating

Dozer is 6 month's old and has NEVER attempted to lift his leg he is so gangly and unbalanced at this point I think he might fall over in mid stream!
Give him a year or 2 he will get over this teenager stuff!
