I got you all beat. My morgage is $1300 a month for a three bedroom, 2.5 bath, 1/2 acre fenced in :eek: Now you know why we want to move :p The house payment really isn't that big of a deal. However we can't stay here if I can't get work. Sooooooo hopefully we will be moving this summer :cool:

That's it - I'm moving to OHIO too!!! Our mortgage is $2,200/mo for a 4 bedroom 2.5 bath colonial on a half acre - and we just refinanced to 5.75% !! :eek:

Holy Empty Wallet Batman, NJ is just INSANELY expensive.

OMG!!:eek: I am sure happy to be living in Tennessee. My rent is only $625 for a 3 bedroom with a livable basement too!! Not to mention the huge fenced in back yard!! Pretty decent neighborhood. I don't like the house that much but it took dogs and had a fence so it'll do.

O H M Y G A W D !!!! $2200 PER MONTH????? I would just DIE! Well, I guess you get what you pay for. You have a big house on a lot of land....we have a decent sized yard, but no where near a half acre.

The statistics are: I live in a suburb of Cincinnati (about 20 minutes from downtown) and my neighbors are a stone's throw away from me. Another thing, we got this house for a SONG because the previous owners had had a house built and had to get rid of this one ASAP. We bought it for $20,000 UNDER appraisal value. Plus we just refinanced as well, so we went from a house payment of $660 to $514.

C'mon to Ohio y'all!

How about the lovely warm state of Arizona??? My boyfriend and I rent a 3 bedroom 2 bath house with a garage, yard & pool. We pay $1250.00 or $625.00 each and they know about our farm of animals. My landlord actually has 2 boxers.
