Okay, I haven't posted a funny Moab story, or anything for that matter, in awhile so thought I'd share this one.
The Saturday before Thanksgiving was my baby shower and my sister and best friend came in town to host it for me. They made all the food (we did a brunch) and brought most of it with them, including these fabulous looking cream cheese danishes that took my BF over 6 hours to make from scratch. She came in Thursday night and worked in the Dallas market on Friday morning while I ran some errands I needed to do. DH headed to work after I did and neither of us thought anything about the danishes sitting on the counter. After all, they were in a sealed 13x9 glass container at the back of the counter and Moab's never bothered something that large & heavy before. But no, I got back to the house a few hours later to find the bag of powdered sugar on the floor (still intact thank goodness) and the lid to the glass container beside it. Of course, Moab's met me at the door with his "guilty" look and wiggle so I know something's up. The container was in the living room ... spotless! There wasn't a crumb to be found and it was almost so clean, you'd have thought I'd pulled it from the dishwasher! He'd eaten all 3 12 inch long danishes and his sides looked like there were about to pop!
Needless to say, I have no idea how good they actually were, but from the look on his face, they must have been pretty yummy. I'm just thankful he didn't break the container and cut himself up in the process. Once I got done being upset with him and we all figured out what we were going to make to replace them, it made for a really funny shower memory to put in the baby book!
