Such a cutie-pie! We call our big boy "Bubba" too (and Zira is "Sissy", in true Southern fashion!). Loved him stalking the cat playing with the scratching post!

Can someone answers me on how/why you would need to your boxers ears unless they are going to be touch and take your dog to shows.

Should'nt that be done at an earlier age.

Why did "I" have it done?

Because this is a pretty common look for North American Boxers and what I always dreamed my boxer would look like. I like to think I "show" him every where we go, he's my pride and joy next to my children =)

We had the procedure done at 10 weeks old. The range for cropping ears is 8week - 12 weeks no later. I decided to go in between.

I did a lot of studying before I decided to go through with it. Soo many things out there make it sound bad but our experince was easy and i'm glad we did it.

Bubba never showed any signs that he was in pain, no yelping or sadness. He didn't scratch any more at the wrap than he does his collar. His recovery was a total of 11 days. Posting and all.
