"breeder" selling at 3 weeks - HELP!

When I got off work Saturday, I stopped by Petsmart and there had been no signs of her. I finally did, however, did get a chance to talk to a very helpful Animal Control person. (The second one I talked to after the first crazy lady, told me there was no law against it, only for petstores). The third one, was able to actually give me the law/code/section and exactly what needed to be done. This BYB was unfortunately not in his district, so he gave me the number of the animal control I needed to call, and he said if they were clueless, to give them the law he gave me and to tell them that I am requesting an officer show up, therefore he is required to do so.
I'm going to give them a call tomorrow (if I can get some time at work) and hopefully get some more of this straightened out.

As for your friends comment about you just "being obsessed with the breed", I don't believe that. Well, you may be obsessed with Boxers
but it's more like concern for dogs in general not necessarily breed specific. You would have reacted and felt the same way had it been any other type of puppy, IMO

I don't think you are breed obsessed either. I wish I had known then what I know now. These byb catch folks (like us) that don't know any better. It takes people like you to keep us informed. Our breeder won't even return our calls. We were trying to find out if any of her litters had the same health problems as Mopar. I feel she knows something to not even want to speak with us...

Why don't you try calling the breeder back, set up a time perhaps to see the puppies, and ask when they will be available to take home.
