"breeder" selling at 3 weeks - HELP!

So, now I'm stuck again. I have no way of finding out where this lady lives (or even her name) because I'm now sure Cassie and/or Amanda won't tell me for fear of not getting the pup. (Cassie was the one that convinced Amanda to get a boxer in the first place). I'm pretty sure that if this is her mindset, Amanda won't be a very good mommy to the pup (especially at 3 weeks old). I can call Animal Control and tell them that this woman may be coming to Petsmart sometime on Saturday, but I don't know when exactly, or even if she for sure will.

How do I save these little guys?!

What if you tell your friends you've changed your mind and understand why the breeder is selling them so soon and say you want one. Get the breeders address and phone and then report her to animal control.

I'm in VA and can be there in about 2-3 hours if you need backup. I don't know about b**** slapping someone but it does sound like fun!!

As Saturday gets closer, I really wonder if the person will have the "walnuts" to show up and try to sell the puppies outside.

Have you checked the local papers for ads for boxer pups? What if you gave a few a call....maybe this idiot BYB would fess up to having 3 week old pups.....just keep insisting you are interested in a young puppy for your child or something. You are a genious! Haha, in BF's words "sweet pickles!" I checked the paper this morning, and just by a "gut feeling" I called the one advertising "a rare black boxer" and it also said nothing about being registered. (go figure, haha).

Called them, talked to a little boy (maybe 12 years old) and actually got directions all the way to their front door!!!! They are 4 weeks old, $200, had their "shots" (at home), and tails done. I guarantee they have not seen a vet!

I called animal control and left a message, told them that I was told nothing could be done if I did not have proof, and I now had plenty of proof that I would like to pass along. So, hopefully I'll be hearing a call back very soon!

I just wanted to say how proud I am of you for sticking with this, and not giving up just because of a few obstacles. Too bad the world isn't full of more people like you! appicon Way to go!
