Boxer Keep-away?

Roxie has many of the above traits. She also tends to like to play keep-away with her toys sometimes-she'll bring us a toy, have us toss it for her, then she takes it back into our bedroom and hide it under the bed. By the end of the day there can be 5-6 bones, plush toys, etc back there!

Pinning the Cat

I was wondering if anyone else's Boxer's do this to the family cat: Chuvalo will chase the cat down and pin him under his chest with front legs on either side of the cat, and butt up in the air. He'll then proceed to chew on the cat's head. He once caught the cat at his water dish and literally pushed the cat's head into the water while pinning him down this way. I felt sorry for the cat once, and tried to rescue him, but the cat just walked a few steps, shook it off, and was back for more! Also, he loves the vaccuum and having his lips sucked! I have to close the door when I dry my hair because he wants me to blow the air at him, all the time! And the shower! Don't worry about keeping the acthroom dry if you allow Chuvalo into the room! He loves to feel the water on his face and no matter how many tmes you try to close the curtain, he will push it out of the way to get at the water!

Wow i thought only my Roxy does that stuff!!

It's crazy to see that all those cute things my boxer does is actually just typical boxer behavior!! My puppy is just now starting to have those wonderful boxer characteristics that i love about my 2 yr. old female!! Boxers are just great and i couldn't ask for a more wonderful and loving pet!

My Lexy ALWAYS puts a bone in her bowl when she is hungry...Also she likes to just make noises when someone is around the pool...Its not a bark and its not a whine its a really weird sound like shes trying to talk...Very weird...She is also very wiggly I dont know if anyone mentioned that yet, but when gets excited she cant stop wiggling like her tail is out of control.

I just saw your name and thought it was neat, because I also have a 2 year old female boxer named Roxy!! She's fawn w/ black and white markings. Her nickname is actually Roxyboxer! I call her that all the time!

My two do almost all that was mentioned, kidney beans, gas, running in their sleep. If Sirrus sees water, it doesn't matter what time of year, he has to sit in it. Jessie will just walk through it, but Sirrus must sit in it. Also, Sirrus cries. My husband comes home from long trips for work and sirrus is so happy to see him he starts crying. It's soo funny

My boxers have all the traits. we put bubba on royal canins boxer food, and his gas stopped. dolce unfortunately isnt old enough for that yet. as many of the same qualitys as they have, they are very different when it comes to one thing, water. Bubba will chill in the pool for as long as we let him, he has his own lounge chair. If Dolce gets water on her foot she shakes it off. she absolutely hates the water. Dolce also howls when i play the harmonica for her. My mom calls it singing along. she gets so involved with her ball that she ends up throwing it to herself and chasing it. whenever i come home they both bounce all over the place, dolce jumps right in my car and the kissing begins. they literally do think they are human. when we first got dolce and i would carry her she would make her way up to my shoulder and rest her head there. she still does it when shes sitting on my lap. they both also get very jealous, if i bet another dog when either is around they bark until i pet them. and dolce has her happy growl. whenever shes really happy she will do the kidney bean and growl as shes coming toward you.

IAlso, he loves the vaccuum and having his lips sucked! I have to close the door when I dry my hair because he wants me to blow the air at him, all the time! And the shower! HAHA! One of Gobi's favorite thing is to have her lips sucked by the vaccuum, especially the shop vac! She also loves to lick the shower water...but her favorite is 'body water' ... she loves to sneak in around the shower curtain and lick my legs when they're all soapy or wet...haha...and tries to help me 'dry off' when I get out.

her absolute favorite thing to do though is to run circuits around our land, she's like a greyhound or a thoroughbred horse, she's so fast, and she runs for along time...around and under things, in big sweeping circles...into the barn then back out..under the swings...it's hilarous to watch.

Katie does everything, except the Woo woo song, she is still only young and just finding her voice so i am hoping she will start soon :D
Aren't Boxer's the most wonderfull dog ever, everything about them lights up your heart and it is also impossible to stay angry with them.
