Jax

Jax does all those things too,
but I think everyone forgot to metion they way they twist their hind ends around---i call Jax "Swizzle Butt"-----

Does anyone else's babies---kiss up when they get in trouble---Beethoven never done it---
But Jax does it ---Anytime he gets in trouble---he walks around with his head down ---then will come up and try to love on me-----
I always give in

Now if his dad (my husband) gets on to him---he runs straight to me--- so i can baby him--

Also --how about when they have done something wrong ------while you was not home-----Jax hangs his head--so when I walk in I know he was bad

Gotta love them no matter what-----

Gosh, I've been following this thread 4ever and I think it's amazing how mine do EVERYTHING that everyone else's does - especially the kidney beaning and I love the froggy look - Max does this, Shay doesn't. They both love to wipe their runny noses, eyes buggers, dripping chins on me (they pretend they want to kiss and hug, but I know better) and especially love to do it when I'm in bed so they can get both me and bedspread in one go! And of course, the wet doggie kisses are how I get woke up on weekend mornings - I'm up earlier than them during the week. Shelly does not do any of these things - she's pretty low-keyed.

Max and Shay both run behind mommy when they get in trouble from Dad and attempt to hide there. If I correct Max he hides under the bed for awhile and sulks, then he'll come out and put his arms around me and hugs and a little kiss on my hair, then he starts nibbling my ear and then he starts nibbling my neck and shoulders and then he starts nipping and when I squeal because it hurts, he starts mock growling and wrestling and dances away.

The funniest thing I think mine do is when they've grabbed something they know they shouldn't have and go hide under the bed, I can hear them and when I bend down to see what it is, they either hide it under their leg and look around (no eye contact) like I won't notice or they'll leave the object where it is and move away from it like they have no idea how it got there and they were just sitting under the bed and *bam* it just appeared out of nowhere..........

One of my least favorite traits is the white foam that collects at the corners of their cheeks. When Maggie gets really excited and is panting alot the foam starts comming out and she loves to come and swipe it on you, especially when we have guests over (they usually are dressed nice too) Then she will shake her head and it will fling up and stick to the walls! All our walls have slober and eye goobers dried on, I seemed to forget they are their untill I'm on the floor with the dogs and see they are on everything!
Only a boxer mom would love them anyway!
We painted our walls with one of those daub on, roll on styles. It helps to hide the slopper. Whenever I wanted to walk around my dog, he inevitably chose the wrong direction to go to get out of my way.
For those of you who have read this far and missed the definition of "kidney bean". It describes the contorted shape your boxer gets himself into when he's excited. His rump comes around and almost meets his head.

These are all SO true! My guy is only 1/2 boxer, but he sure does act like a true blue, purebred boxer! The woo woo song, the snoring, the excessive gas, rolling on the carpet, the bucking bronco and especially the kidney bean (which is a deadly weapon because he has a natural tail that whips around and almost hits him in the face). It's hilarious! We have a little terrier that comes up to Luke's butt and when he sees Luke going into kidney bean mode he hunches down and squints his eyes shut - he knows what's coming!

Luke also loves to lay in the terrier's dog bed (which is tiny!). He squeezes his big body in their in a tight little ball so he can squeeze in until the little bed is practically bursting at the seams!!

He also loves to lay on his flat on his back in the back of our Jeep when we go on trips. He lays there like a limp noodle and every time we hit a bump his whole body bounces and you can hear a very audible fart!

He also does the big exasperated sigh thing - and his saggy lips vibrate as he blows the air out of his mouth - it's priceless.

Does anyone's boxer do this - when he is play fighting with another dog they will be play biting and licking each other's faces and suddenly they burst into a sneezing fit?

I absolutely love my dog and can't wait to experience all of the boxer traits when we get our new little girl in a month!

Beamer has everyone one of Cooper's traits as well as placing his chin on the edge of the bed when we're on it as if to say, "am I cute enough to be allowed on too?" Then we tell him he can come on and he wedges his body between us, sit's on my hubby's chest and smothers him! it's a scream.

Niko catwalk ....

Niko does the same as all of you said about your babies. :D

She shakes her backend like a 'catwalk' she snorts on you to say 'I love you', she chases flies, snores louder than daddy, she pounces, has gas, rolls over on her back (we have pictures!) sits like 'frog dog' frogicon (also pictures!), lays in lap, curls up in a ball (can a 70lb do that?) dances, cuddles with the girls, runs wild "..... as if the devil is chasing ...." waits while your not looking to pounce you, steals the girls dollies, has her favorite babies, LOVES to take rides, plays with the water streams, barks to attack daddy when he is getting us, 'sits' on your foot to get you to rub her belly, looks at you upside to get you to 'kiss' her nose, loves for you to scratch her back thighs, if you stop she nudges your hand to keep going...:p she nudges your hand to eat, go out, play, rub, or just talk. She brings you toys, lays them down on your lap, streches over you, goes to the bathroom with ME, plops her behind right in the center of the girls toys, and best of all, the cold wet sloppy kisses mixed with eye buggers! ... well I can go for ever ...

:p Sloppy kisses from Niko and family

Our nearly 4 years old Bria, red and white bitch has nearly all the traits listed, especially the woo woo song...which just cracks us up and she is absolutely obsessed with any type of ball, especially her football...she would just play with it 24/7...Her fav at the moment is one that santa clause brought her which has a piece of rope sticking out each end so she can carry it without bursting it...
