This story makes me so sad. I'm really glad that you are willing to give this little girl a good home and some good loving. She deserves it! This guy sounds like an uneducated, uncaring jerk. It would be really sad to find out that he was able to get another little girl to abuse. I hope that you do contact animal control to have him checked out. Keep us posted on your (hopefully) new family memeber. Maybe even get us some picture haha. I will be thinking of you over the weekend and I hope it all works out.

I am not real worried about him wanting her back. Even if he did, we have moved and chgd our phone number since the last time I kept her for him.:D Now, if I go pick her up from him, he wont know the difference will he? LOL!

I really dont think he would want her back, especially after she is going to be spayed. I just pray that she doesnt come into heat between now and the next few days, because lord only knows he may try to crank one more litter out of her, and the way I see it, next time he may loose more than all of the puppies, next time it could be her too. :(

I forgot to add that a friend of mine tried to get animal control to step in because his neighbors dog was never fed or watered, and in a pen all the time. Animal control said to him that if they cant see the dog from the road, there is nothing they can do because they cant go in behind someones home to check on a cruelty case :confused: Needless to say, the animal perished due to lack of care. Does this make sense to anyone? I know the laws are different by state, but it does look like animal control could do something if you call in a potential abuse case?

What a sad story...Boo Hoo. I hope you get her & she can live the rest of her life a very well loved baby. It's a sad world we live in.

Update!!!!

We will be bringing our new baby home this Sunday!! I am going to make a vet appt for her one day next week, please keep us in your thoughts and prayers that her health will be good, the last thing this poor dog needs is health problems after having a miserable life.

She is just in time to meet her new 13 week old brother, a chihuahua, and now we will have 4 dogs....:eek:

I forgot to add.. her name is Olly or Ollie, not sure how he spells it. :D

I am 6'3" tall, 255 lbs, and have a daughter that is a Tae Kwon Do Black Belt. Give me that jerk's address! We'll straighten him out and fix it so he never owns another dog in his life!

Guys like him really get my dander up - taking advantage of a poor, defensless little girl boxer like that...

Yay! Hooray for Ollie/Olly! Lucky little girl has no idea how much better her life is going to be - I know you guys will show her how a boxer is supposed to live...spoiled with love!

(Congratulations on the chihuahua too - Carlos was my first dog ever and he was the love of my life for 14 years - and they sure can handle themselves around their bigger doggie siblings! :D )

Thank God Ollie (traditional female spelling) is coming home to you. She has no idea how wonderful her life is about to become. I agree with the man who's daughter is in Karate - a better fate he could not meet....I hate people who treat their dogs like livestock.
