Rocky turned 11 weeks today and weighs 18 pounds. He seems to eat like a bird and moves like a hummingbird, so I don't know how he gains any weight at all. Based on what I've read in this thread and my vet he seems like he's growing at a reasonable rate.
Seems like you have a nice sized boy on your hands. Your boy has ALOT of growing still to do. He'll continue to grow taller until about 18 months to 2 years old and then fill in weight wise from 2-3 years old.
Update on Dozer & Diesel
Dozer is 15months old and 65lbs.
Diesel is 12months old and 70lbs.
They are both 24inches tall.
great thread since i am wondering how big our new puppy boy is going to be. he is 5 months and 5 days old and already weighs 44 lbs. he was just weighed yesterday when he went in for his neutering.
our other boy.......is 9 months old. he weighs 56 lbs. he's got very long legs and is very lean.
our 8 1/2 year old girl is 65 lbs and, according to the vet is at a perfect weight. he thinks she is just perfect and would like to see her stay at this weight.
our vet also complimented us on keeping our dogs at good weights since being overweight is not so good for their health. now, if i could only keep myself at the perfect weight........I would never have to see the inside of another Weight Watchers meeting again. LOL
As far as our fur-babies' heights....i don't know how tall any of them are. I will measure them at the withers when i'm feeling better, as i am home with the flu today. THE BEST PART OF BEING SICK IS HAVING THREE BOXERS PILE UP NEXT TO YOU TO HELP YOU FEEL BETTER. it's all snuggles and body heat today!
