Boxer Burn - Owww

Does anyone else here end up with some type of injury when your boxer goes into a burn? LOL

Orion goes into his nightly one and he's banking off the couches, running around the coffee table, into the kitchen, etc. Well, he gets all done and I think it's safe.......or is it? When I least expect it, Orion jumps up, puts all for legs on me for leverage to start yet another boxer burn!!! It wouldn't have been too bad of a bounce for him but I was wearing shorts and shorts and doggie nails don't really mix too well. I'm now sporting a nice 6 inch scratch right above my left knee. It's near the 1-1/2 round bruise that's just under the left knee from the boxer burn injury two days ago. I'm thinking about wearing nice soft padding for a while to prevent any other injuries.....LOL:rolleyes: :D

Gee this sounds familiar! And it not only happens when he's doing his "Boxer Burn". Sometimes, I'll be sitting and watching television or reading the paper. He will be quietly chewing on a toy or something and then out of the blue, he'll decide he immediately NEEDS to be in my lap. And it's not a gentle leap in the lap either! I keep telling him he's not a lap dog, but he's not listening!

Oh, and my bruised thighs are looking VERY attractive in my swimsuit this summer. :p

First broken nose!!

Sam's big head popped me Sunday night.....heard my nose crack and then blood everywhere!!!! I now have a broken nose and two black eyes! I was in the grocery store last night and got some very strange looks....even had one total stranger touch my arm and ask if I was ok. They are just way too quick and strong but you just gotta love them!!!!

It's sounds all to familiar to me. I also have just recovered from a huge scratch on my thigh. A result of wearing shorts and caught in the middle of a boxer burn!!

My Boxer goes on burns all the time. Luckly it is done out side. I have to watch out for her if I am outside with her because more then once she has ran right into me and I went tumbuling over.:D

I've talked about this before, but Samantha ran into me doing the *burn* about two yrs. ago. My knee went backwards, and I thought my leg was broken! My knee still hurts sometimes, and I'm going to physical therapy next week for it!

I've had my fair share of scratches and bruises, too!

I wear shorts all the time and you can just see the bruises on my legs from Jedi. When I went in for knee surgery (another Jedi related injury) they saw bruises on my arms and legs from wrestling with Jedi. My wife (whom is much smaller then I am) was in the room and the nurse looked at me and asked if I knew where to go and what to do in case of abuse. I burst out laughing saying yes, I used to volunteer at a local abused women's shelter and that my bruises are badges of honor from my rambunctious puppy I wrestle with. I don't think she believed me, but I got a good laugh out of it.

Oh god the boxer burn, my whole family are suffering from an assortment of bruises and scratches, at the moment i`m limping from a swollen foot done during a play sessoin with bella.

Still it`s worth the bruises to get boxer love.

I hate when they peel out on your feet....i have constant bruises on my toes...
