When Samson gets on the "burn" in the back yard, I normally leap to safe ground. Yep, if I don't, he plows me from behind and down I go. The other day I sat giggling/half crying because my ankle got twisted as I went down. Do you think he was concerned? Nope, he climbed over my back and started the "hair-do make over thing." You know, the one that leaves you looking sort of, well, witchy? My husband had to rescue me. LOL

Oh yes, I have been head-butted once too many times. I am sorry to hear about your broken nose. That has to be painful.

smashicon Oh Yes! Sophie has gotten my hubby down out in the big yard! What a sight to see, a 65 pound baby taking down a 180 pound man! Sophie has snagged me several times. I sport bruises, scratches, scrapes, and teeth scratches. Just this morning, Soph grabbed one of my socks right out of my hand (sneaky and quick) and like a dumb Mom that I am, instead of commanding her to sit, I try to stop her in mid run and ended up on the kitchen floor. I didn't know if I should laugh or cry...it HURT! I didn't scold her tho, she thought we were playing. Hubby says it might be safer living with tigers!:p

Duke was running in from the back yard one time ....took one leap from the back door to the sofa in the family room and knocked it over backwards!

No serious injuries...just like what you guys have had ( no broken noses/black eyes thank goodness!)

Tigger hyper-extended my pinky finger one time. She and I were outside playing frisbee and she was so excited when she returned to me she jumped up and as she came down her body hit my little finger and bend it so far backward I heard it pop. Then it turned black and blue and swollen and I could not bend it for a few days.
My sister's dog, a lab, once when on a walk, saw a cat and took off pulling my sister behind him. However, he managed to pull her right into a light post and she had a bruised forhead and a cut up finger that should have been stitched.
Those dogs!
Gotta love em!

Oh, I forgot, I got my pinky caught in Samantha's collar, and she turned around with my pinky caught in her collar and a tendon ruptured in my pinky! You should have seen it, I couldn't straighten it! The doctors call it a mallet finger! I had to wear a little splint on my finger for 12 weeks, and it still doesn't look straight! They couldn't operate on it because there isn't much tissue to attach the tendon to, so scar tissue has to form to attach the tendon!

I love threads like this one! I usually end up on my rear end because Creed takes me out in the knees. My husband will just stand there and say "Get out of the way Danelle!" But just when you think your safe, whooooosssshhhh down I go. Fortunately I only get a few bumps and bruises.

When Quincy was only 6 months old, he broke my nose and occipital bone. My husband was really upset because first the emergency staff, then the x-ray staff and finally our family doctor asked if it was actually caused by a puppy. They wanted me to know that if it was actually my husband, I could tell them and they would help

Both my knees use to creak when I walked upstairs. I can't remember which one, but either Omar or Magnum ran into my knee while I was standing up and now that knee doesn't creak anymore but the other un-attacked knee still does. Go figure.

Wow! I can't believe some of the injuries people here have had from boxer burns and other things. Thankfully Jackson does his burns outside. Not enough room in the house for that.
