I could watch my girl "burn" all day, and she would if she could  The best ones are this time of year in the snow-by the time she is done we are down to grass :) Oh how your pup will entertain you lovicon

A boxer gives more joy than anything, way more than my carpet cleaner, and you all know how much I love that:) They have their unique little quirks(burns, beans, woowoos, etc) and those are the things that we love and embrace about them. Imagine if we had a different breed of dog, yeah, you thought about it and nothing awesome about that idea came to mind. I don't know about the rest of you, but when I had the thought, I felt a void. I can't imagine life without boxers. I know that I lived before them, but what did I do? Who entertained me? Who snuggled with me? Who blew snot on me or rubbed food debris on me? Yeah, yeah, my oldest dd, but that was different. Boxers are so unique in the fact that they are not animals, yet they don't have all of the human traits(speaking out loud in human voice, the eyes and action says it all for them). I know that I am saying what we all think and feel, but when you meet someone that doesn't have a boxer yet, or is getting their first, you can't help but light with glow from within at the thought of how their lives will change for the better. Your terminology will definitely increase, as well as your appreciation for other aspects of your life. BW is full of possibilities.

Boxer's are awesome

What runs like a deer, chews everything like a goat, is curious as a cat, jumps like who knows what, and has the most soulful eyes you can imagine? Why our boxer pals - that's who. I swear, some of the expressions on our boxer's face are human!! You will most certainly enjoy having one around. You will also at times be ready to pull your hair out!! They're the best!!!

kidney bean & boxer burn

Boxer's are truly one of the best best best breeds, they are so comical to watch and loving, we look forward to our "beans" when we get home from work, or anytime we are out, how her body can curl into such a shape i don't know but nothing else warms your heart as a boxer owner. Wait til you hear the woo woo =)

fyi youtube search oscar & lola, remarkable video's of boxers one of which is a burn around the garden

You also may experience the jack-hammer (common trait) This is where they pound on the ground with both front paws like a jack-hammer! And in Chief's case, he makes the growly noises with it!

I thought the Jackhammer was when they get close to your face and hammer you with their nose! (well thats what my two do OW! LOL)

OMG I forgot to tell you-sometimes boxers kidney bean and walk sideways like a crab when they are excited. Other times they wag their bodies back and forth like a rumba, and when VERY excited they do the MAMBO!!!!! GET READY TO DANCE!!!!!!!

Yeah what Erin says!

I call them half breed, half dog/half human.
