I do have a question for you all. Have you ever seen metal stitches? Bode has them. Vet says they are supposed to deter licking the wound. I have to say they don't seem to bother him and he's left his incision alone. We have one more week before they are removed.

I think he has healed faster than he did with the normal stitches.

Yup. Stainless steel monofilament suture. They can be used in a variety of applications and one benefit is that dogs are less likely to lick or chew at them. Glad to hear they healed quickly.
