This cake sounds awesome! I'm not much on cooking, but this just might change my mind. And plus it'll definatly suprise my boyfriend when he comes home and I have a cake fixed! Thanks for the recipe!

This is soo good
I make it for everyone's Birthdays and they love it, plus it is super easy!

1 boxed chocolate cake mix
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
1 jar of caramel ice cream topping
1 of either cool whip, whipped cream or frosting

Bake the cake according to the directions on the box for a sheet cake. While cake is still warm poke tons of holes in it with a fork and poor on the can of sweetened condensed milk, let soak in. After the milk has soaked in, poor half a jar of caramel ice cream topping over the cake and let it also soak in. After cake has cooled top with a layer of cool whip, whipped cream, or frosting. Cool Whip seems to be best!

Enjoy, it is sooo good.

When I read the thread, I thought about my better than sex cake, and thought I would see if it was made the same. Here is my ingredients for my better than sex cake:

chocolate cake mix
chocolate syrup
whip cream
sweet condensed milk
cool whip
butterfinger candy bars (about 3) crushed


make chocolate cake according to directions, while still warm, poke holes in it,(with the end of a wooden spoon) and pour sweet milk in holes and syrup in holes, top with half of the crushed butterfinger bars, let cool a bit, and then put cool whip on top, chocolate syrup, and rest of crushed butterfingers. Put in fridge for about two hours, and serve cold. MMMMMMMM.....:D
Gonna try your recipe though, that sounds good. The above recipe is SWEET..I must warn you all..I have thought of renaming it "death by chocolate" .....enjoy

Sounds like I need to try "death by chocolate"! about how many holes do you put in it, and how much syrup?

poke holes all over the cake. Just put enough chocolate syrup to fill the holes..(not too much because this is extra sweet)

I made the "death by chocolate" cake, and I like it better than the sex cake. But the kids like the other one. So I guess I'll have to try and make a half death and half sex cake. Or would it be called death by sex or better than death .

LOL...glad you liked it. Sweet though isnt it? When I make this, I CANT stop eating it. It screams my name in the middle of the night when I am sleeping. When I eat it, I close my eyes, as they roll back in amazement. MMMMM is all that comes out of my mouth after each bite. I like to eat it alone, so there are no interuptions. LOL.....I bit of "death by chocolate" humor. He he
