That is probably my favorite thing about living in the desert. When we have a storm the lightening strikes are usually amazing. During monsoon season, it is great to sit on the side of the hill and watch lightening strike all over the valley. Very dramatic. Luckily we don't often have the tornadoes that accompany the lightening.

BTW, Olly I enjoy your avatars. I look forward to coming here and seeing what you have put up
