Hehe, "Cupie" Sounds cute. I want to use Thora, it's just a matter of convincing dh.
I've seen "Thor's hammers" that are shaped sorta like arrows. Not traditionally, but with some imagination...

You could compromise on the name and use Adora. It is a french name meaning beloved. I also did a search for girl names meaning arrow. I came up with Belen (greek), and Motega (native american).

thanks for the ideas! i was looking for other names relating to arrows too, but nothing seemed to fit. i think i just got stuck on the one name i really liked and couldn't get past it... you know how that goes.

it was SO hard not to get two. first off, the entire litter was gorgeous- not very flashy, but all of them were great looking puppies. there was a little brindle male who had the neatest striping i've ever seen- it was very sporadic and had definite lines, like tiger stripes. oh man i wanted him so bad, but alas, we were there for a girl i hope he's still there when we pick our girl up so i can take pics.

That's what happened to our neighbor: he went to pick up his German Shepard puppy and when he got there he fell in love with another puppy from the same litter so he brought home two puppies :D His wife almost killed him I think he had to promise her a new kitchen in return LOL
