I notice Nikita lays on the parts of the carpet that the sun is shining on through the windows. And she also lays close to heat registers.

Tula is quite energetic. Yesterady, they both wanted to keep playing outside..it was 2 degrees out there! But, maybe she likes to play with her ball more than she cares about being cold.

It's getting kind of cute the way she can seek the heat. Whenever the furnace kicks on I'll know where Tula will be.

our zuki used to be the same way...she would find the warmest spot in the house!
when i took her to the vet about a year ago i mentioned it to him and he suggested that we do some thryoid bloodwork.
turns out her thyroid was underactive. so now she is on meds for it. she goes back a few times a year now to have thyroid bloodwork to make sure the meds are working.
not saying your girl has an underactive thyroid....just sharing my experience with the heat seaking issue.

Tyson likes to sit and sleep in front of the heater whenever it is on. He'll even rotate sides from front to back and left to right. Lol.

bella likes to sit next to the fire but mainly to watch it she doesnt like the regestars because they blow air in her ears. that makes her mad
