Are there other breeds that are "cuddlebugs" as much as boxers??

Cuddle, cuddle, cuddle

I must say that I NEVER thought I would like to cuddle soooo much with an animal before. His coat is so soft, and his cute little snore. However I could do without the nasty eye oogies after the nap! I must say that I'm just as dependent on Dexter as he is me.

The only other dog I've know to be a good cuddler was our dauschund. He passed just over a year ago, but oh how he loved to be warm and snuggled up with someone.

Another vote for Beagles

In the week and a half I have had Zuko, he has been just as big a cuddlebug as Cash!! That is when he isn't having "big man syndrome" with Cassius!! They have taken over the couch and anyone on that couch is there purely for the dogs enjoyment and cuddle factor!!

We used to have an Akita ( I think thats the breeds name ) When I was younger.. That dog was just as cuddly as my boxers... I dont remember much about her but I do know she loved to cuddle and was very lovable and sweet. She did look kinda weird, I mean shes not the type of dog I would of chosen but she still was a great dog while we had her :) Plus I just loved the way her tail would curl up :D Darn I wish I could find some pics of her....

Hands Down, Boxers are the best Cuddlers. No Question on that, but I have owned 3 Rotties, and they were big time cuddlebugs too. The only problem with them is they weigh 2ce the amount of Magic (who is only 55lbs) My 3rd Rottie had to be so close to me that he would walk between my legs and lift me off my feet and i would end up riding him around the house, if i didnt stop every 5 feet to pet him. And forget sitting on the couch, he would plop down on my lap and about smoosh me. My Step-dad still has him, and Springer (his name) and Magic get along so good.

But Bandit, my first boxer, and Magic as well, have to be right up your butt, if you stop, you will have a only 2 boxer legs and a crazy wagging nubby sticking out, foolicon if you get my drift  But both of them (when my x-husband and i were still married) went to bed, we had 2 boxers right next to us. And in the morning if we werent up at 6am, boy let me tell you, the body heat that comes off of 2 excited boxers, will keep you warm in -30degree weather.

Maybe a lab or irish setter? My sisters lab never wants to leave her side. If you go into a room, he must go with you. He also has a tendency of thinking that he is a lap dog. Irish setters are also cuddlebugs. They are protective over their family members, well at least mine were. I guess maybe the only downfall is that they are long-haired? It depends on what you like. My boyfriend only likes short-haired dogs, so an irish setter was out of the question.
Still, my personal favorite are boxers. I just love mine to pieces. Get another boxer!

Lucy is our first boxer and we have only had our AmStaff for a few months. They are both reall good cuddlers. Our Boston Terrier will cuddle so closely she will get hot and start panting, but she will NOT move until you MAKE her. We have also had Pugs before and a toy Poodle and they would cuddle but not that much.
