Are there other breeds that are "cuddlebugs" as much as boxers??

We have been owned by 4 boxers. They have all been cuddlebugs.

Boxers rule when it comes to cuddling!

I have to admit....I have a Dalmatian that loves to cuddle too...but...of course he lives with 4 boxers. Hmmmm....wonder if that is where he learned to cuddle?

Oskar is a cuddle bug and we love it! We also have a Yorkie that is a cuddler too. I wouldn't have it any other way!

My boxers aren't cuddle bugs. We got Sullivan as a pup and he shared our lives and hearts for 8 1/2 years (until he died). The closest he ever got to cuddling was laying his head on our foot. If I sat on the floor to cuddle with him, he started bouncing and playing and would NOT lay down and cuddle for more than a minute or two at best. Murphy was a show dog and kenneled for the first four years of her life. When I try to cuddle with her she gets that scared look -- eyes kind of rolled back -- and resists with every muscle in her body. She's been with us for four 1/2 years so I guess she'll never be a cuddler. Last August we adopted Tucker, a year old pixer (boxer/pix bull mix), and HE'S a cuddler for maybe five or ten minutes. Then he gets tired of cuddling and wants us to play, play, play.

My beagle is a cuddlebug. She's always got to be touching you. At night she sleeps under the covers between my legs or sometimes (when I'm lucky) she'll curl up beside my chest when I'm laying on my side to be spooned. Even when it's hot out she's under the covers touching at least your toe. She will mope if I don't give her some lovin time.

The beagle-boxer combo is very interesting. I think almost any two breeds can live together and be happy. I guess I would rather have 2 of the same, but I won't give up either breed and I won't have more than 2 dogs. So beagle-boxer it is. 2 beagles are so nice together because it's anazing how they "hunt" around the yard and house together. And our best friends have a boxer about the same age as our boxer and they really know how to play together. But my beagle and boxer play together and have a great time too. They cuddle together on the couch or bed and in their kennel all the time.

My Weimaraner is very cuddly and they have a reputation for being so. She follows me everywhere I go and she lets me know when she need some cuddling. She is more cuddly than Lily, my Boxer, who is a little more independent.

Xena is "Queen of Cuddle" compared to all the breeds that have owned me in the past. The next biggest cuddler I ever had the pleasure of being owned by was my Doberman. He was such a suck and just loved to be loved. We will be getting our second Boxer in just a few weeks and I am so excited and thrilled. Xena will love her new snuggle companion!! My Mom has 2 boxers too and they would be lost without each other! When I am there with Xena and my sister with Sassy and my brother with Emma (all Boxers), the sight of 5 full grown boxers all tangled together while cuddling is priceless!:D

I grew up with boston terriers and they were always little lovers. My favorite was Bruno who we conditioned to love kisses on his cheek soooo much that he will jump on you lap and put his cheek right up to your lips for some kisses!!

Cuddlebug.......cuddle monster....Sasha is rotten and manipulative with her cuddling...both when she wants something....in trouble....or just bored...she has to be on one of us ALL the time!!! I have to take pics to put on profile....she is so cute!! And of course she gets whatever she wants too!

I will have to agree with some that Dobermans and Great Danes are BIG cuddle bugs. We had a doberman foster that would follow so closey he would be on your heels and run smack dab in to you if you stopped suddenly while walking. He always had to be in your lap. My sister has a great dane and she is always right beside her and laying next to her. My father had a rottweiler before I moved out and that dog was not only in your lap but in your face and your bed. My dad even takes the dog to work with him and never leaves his side.
