I would love to, but it seems a little too hot for them to play outside. Roscoe cant even be outside for more than 5 minutes without panting excessively. Maybe next week will be better and hopefully cooler.

I am soooooooooooooo excited! I cant wait to meet all the people from here and get to see TONS of boxers. I hope it isnt really hot that day. Roscoe doesnt deal with the heat well. It has been so hot here the past few days that I cant walk them or let them outside to run around in the backyard. When the time gets closer we should designate a time and place for us to all meet up. I am also excited that Blayne's foster mom will be there and she will be able to see Blayne and how well she is doing with us :D

Boxer Bash this Weekend!!

Wow! It was great to log in tonight and see everyone talking about Mid-Michigan Boxer Rescue's Bash! This is our 5th year and it seems to get bigger every year! This is also one of our biggest fundraisers. ALL of the proceeds from the sales of lunches and auction items goes to the Rescue. I will check with some folks and see if we can make some type of announcement where members of Boxerworld can all meet each other!

Well, I won't be there unfortunately. =( I've got a roommate moving in on Saturday now and on top of that, Kaybie is very sick. If you see my other thread in the Health Section (Mucus Poop), it gives the update. I have to keep her calm for a while so going is totally out of the question now. I'm bummed because I really wanted to meet you guys! =(

Awww, I am bummed too. It is going to be so much fun and I was looking forward to meeting you too. I am so sorry that Kaybie is not feeling well. I know how it is to have a sick dog and I understand that you want to keep her home and rest. I will take pictures for you so you can live vicariously through us. I hope Kaybie gets better and I hope the roommate thing goes smoothly.

Weather on Bash Day

According to the weather man, it should be mild, about 75 degrees, on Bash day!
That will make it all the better for us.
Keep in mind, we will have tents, LOTS OF TENTS, so no one has to be out in the sun all day.

LOL! I have been watching the weather everyday to see what it will be like. Blayne and Roscoe (him especially) dont do well in the heat, so I was hoping it wouldnt be too hot. Of course, we will be bringing our jug of water for them though. I can't wait!!! I am excited for you and Julie to see Blayne and how well she is doing with us. She is such a doll!!! I am going shopping tonight to find cute stuff for the two of them. Although I dont think Chris will let me dress up Roscoe
