Again, I must tell each of you how much your love and support means....it's just amazing. My husband and I planted a little flower bed today in Catfish's memory, and I'm planning to put his ashes there when I get them. We put it in the sun spot that he used to go out and just sit in to warm up from being inside the air-conditioned house :0). I'll get a little stone with an engraving on it to place in his garden so that I can go out and just be with him and talk to him when I want. It's day to day at this point, but I know how happy he is, and that makes my heart smile.

I am so sorry to hear about Catfish. He stayed with you as long as he could because you loved him so much, and now he can run around and do those boxer figure 8's in heaven forever!

Thank You for your kind wishes and support. Gus is still with us and we cherish every day that he is, just as you did with Catfish. We will love them forever.

I hope when it's Gus' time to go Catfish and his new boxer buddies will be waiting at the bridge!

You were so brave for Catfish. He was a very lucky dog. He's boxer burning all over the place in heaven now for sure, and will be waiting to greet you there. My prayers are with you during this very difficult time.

I have been away for awhile, and just read your posts today. When I got to the one where you had that last, glorious day with Catfish, tears were streaming down my face. I, too, had to make that horrid decision over 5 years ago with my boxer girl, and I know how terribly sick it makes you feel in your heart. You and your family will be in my thoughts. I'm sure my precious girl, Scarlett, was at the entrance to the Bridge waiting to welcome Catfish to his painfree life.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Catfish was such a beautiful boy. I lost my Jakey a year ago this October. I still have tearful moments, but mostly, I can look back and smile at the memories I have of him. Time will make it hurt less and less.

I can't stop crying from reading your post. I am so sorry that you lost your baby boy I know Catfish is running pain free with all other beautiful babies. And one day you two will be together forever!!! You both shared a wonderful moment together that will never be forgotten. You have so much love to give and possibly in the future when the time is right you can give that same love and affection to another boxer baby.

Sometimes when your hurting it helps to write down your feelings in a journal of some kind. Stay strong and just take one day at a time.

My mom has been in the hospital for the past week and I have not been on here and I wanted to check on Catfish. I am so sorry for your loss. I know our boys had a lot in common so I know they are run together pain free. Your description of your last day together was so precious.
