okay i am officially very jealous. i love stephen tyler. and i thought i was the only nut in the world who loved Aerosmith, AC/DC and GNR.... i mean.... GNR rock!!!! as for Def Lepard, their Vault cd has been one of my and fabe's favorites for years now. how did you scam tickets to this concert? you lucky girl you.... we have nickleback here next month, but unfortunately we won't be able to go.

anyone else here a diehard ozzy fan??? come on guys.... i can't be the only ozzy chick in the world......

Ariane I logged on to ticketmaster to get the tickets! They went on sale today at 12:00pm. Truth be told I had some help from my sister! She ended up logging on before me and got kicker seats! At a forty five from the stage! First Bowl!

And you aren't the only Ozzy fan! I think he is alright but Dan Loveeees Ozzy! Rock on!

OMG...just heard some Cheap Trick on the radio a few mintues ago. Ain't that a Shaaaammme!!!! :D Aerosmith...I have some of their "old" albums. They are such a great group and have you heard???.....Tesla has a new album!!!! Can't buy it till March sometime...I believe.
You are so lucky Christa! I feel like a seeing a good concert...I though maybe I had out grow that stage, but lately I feel like rocking to some "loud" music. :D
I've seen Def Lepard and Poison in concert...what a blast that was.
Boston, Nickleback, Skid Row and all the others....keep on rockin!

I love Aerosmith and have always :D I shared this before but I'll share again (okay, if you all insist ) Tom Hamilton lives up the street from me and I see him at the video store frequently (on Saturday nights, no less - with his kid ) ......they're just regular guys....

Hey, that's pretty ineresting Barb. I was just checking out ticket info on them. They will be playing in IA at 2 different cities in May. WOW...tickets are expennnnsive. What ever happened to the $20 ticket concerts I remember? :o

They charge a 16 dollar "convenience" charge if you buy them on the net too! Our total for 2 tickets came to 198.00! Yikes! But we don't go out to often and never get to go to concerts so we bit the bullet. Tickets here started at 50.00 up to 90.00! Even I can remember the 25 dollar concert tickets in highschool!

I saw them way back in 1987 at a Texas Jam. There were 80,000 of us in the Cotton Bowl to see Tesla, Whitesnake, Aerosmith, Boston, and a couple of groups that I missed earlier in the day. (because of my cousin's wedding) Aerosmith put on a good show, especially since they hadn't made an album in several years. They started putting out new stuff 2 months after the concert. I got to hear all 70s vintage Aerosmith and it was pretty killer.

I was right there with you at the Texas Jam, and though I hate to admit it, I had seen them perform at least twice prior to that concert....old age alert.

I would love to see them again, but I am just not sure I can handle the concert scene anymore. I'm more of the type to buy the cd and put on the headphones (still at ear shattering levels) these days! :rolleyes:

Ok not to toot my own horn or anything but I have seen Aerosmith 6 times the last being their last tour with Kid Rock and Run DMC, but since we're talking bout 80's rock, the first time I saw them was in 81 or 82 and you 80's music lover will love this line up, Ratt opened but was pretty much boo'd off stage, then Iron Maiden Came out followed by Aerosmith and Judas Priest finished the night off and in case your wonder yes I had a headache the next day :p
