Aerosmith! So excited!

I am so excited! I have to share with all my fellow Aerosmith fans and everbody else too! I got tickets for Aerosmith! Yipee! April 22nd!! I am taking my husband for his bday (which is April 17)! I am so excited as I have wanted to see them since FOREVER! So has he!Lol! We are products of the 70's/80's and even though I like all music I have an embarassing love of 80's rock (and glam rock) bands! Lol! You heard me! I only wish I did not miss Def Lepard :( I was pregnant at the time! I shall be embarassed no more! Give me Poison, Skid Row and GNR! That's right the truth is out! Just wanted to share how excited I was! Thanks for listening to me drag on!

Where is Aerosmith playing?
Chances are they are not playing anywhere close to where I live...
That last time they were in Toronto, I had to tickets, but couldnt get the time off of work.. my best friend and her hubby went instead....*sigh*

They are playing in Hamilton! I am actually glad it is not Toronto! I hate driving there! Especially at night downtown! Plus we are only 30min from Hamilton! I hope you get a chance to see them Mel. I have been waiting forever! It just never worked out and last time it was cancelled! They are supposed to be wicked in concert!

Sounds exciting. We saw them back in 92. Aerosmith puts on an excellent concert. Tickets went on sale for an April show in Philly but I hope to see them, rumour has it they will be appearing in Atlantic City, New Jersey in the Summer. I love outdoor concerts. Have a blast. Another great band!

I saw them way back in 1987 at a Texas Jam. There were 80,000 of us in the Cotton Bowl to see Tesla, Whitesnake, Aerosmith, Boston, and a couple of groups that I missed earlier in the day. (because of my cousin's wedding) Aerosmith put on a good show, especially since they hadn't made an album in several years. They started putting out new stuff 2 months after the concert. I got to hear all 70s vintage Aerosmith and it was pretty killer.

I got to see Def Leppard in August of last year (which you can read about here). It was an AWESOME concert!! I was to young to see them when they were really big and famous, but it was still awesome to see them now. I even went home with a DL guitar pic!!

I'm also a big fan of the 80's music, especially hairbands which I still listen to a LOT!! I've gone to see Warrant, Winger, Def Leppard, Poison (3x), Cinderella, Faster Pussycat, Slaughter, Skid Row, Ratt, Bon Jovi, and Quiet Riot. DL is by far my favorite of all time though. To this day, I could just listen to them non stop. Oh, and I had a huge crush on Joe Elliot growing up. :p

I haven't seen Aerosmith yet, but I've heard that they put on a great show!! Hope you have a lot of fun.

I love them all and yes...I too still listen to them (we have a mixed cd with Def leppard, Twisted Sister, Skid Row etc in our car!) My crush was....C.C. from Poison and the ever so handsome Sebastian Bach (sp?) from Skid Row. He does Broadway now! Gotta love DL's Joe's mullet! Lol! Admit it!? Lol! Now I know that I am not alone in my love for the glam rockers! Lets not forget Motley Crue! (DH's fav along with AC DC) My husband drums so he is a big Tommy Lee fan. I have some hilarious 80's pic of him (DH) long hair, 14 hole Docs! Too funny! I can't wait to see Aerosmith! April can't come fast enough.

Christa, you are soooo lucky!! I saw Areosmith in '85, with 38 Special!! It was one of the best concerts I have ever been to! What a show! I am also a 70/80's music junkie! Poison (C.C.!!! ),
Boston, ACDC, Def Lepard, ZZ Top....love it all!! I'm sure it will be an event you will never forget....have a blast!!:cool:
