A Call to Boxer Lovers in MD DC VA areas

Hello all I am new and have grown up with boxers all my life. I am just now reading what everyone wrote and I am from Virginia.

I have a fawn male boxer named Damion and will be getting a female in November. I have seen my little baby girl and she is too adorable.

Virginia would be an excellent place. There are many dog parks and parks. I can name a few. There is a dog park in Alexandria Virginia and a couple of basic parks. Burke Lake Park that has volleyball, lake, fields, paths, grills, etc. Leesylvania Park which I have heard is a nice park with fields, water, etc.

Thought I would suggest some places in Virginia since I am coming into this forum as a newbee!!!

How is everything going?? how is phoebe?
Their are going to be 2 bashes.

1 is on October 26th in VA location is TBA
2 is on October 27th in Annapolis Quiet waters park.

I hope phoebe is going to be able to make it. Remember you will have to dress her up/

Also if you want to meet, this Sunday around noon. Kate and i will be at the broadneck park in Arnold, very close to Cape st claire. if you would like to meet then.

How old is Damion? And you are going to getting a little girl also?

We are trying to find a dog park that has a fountain, small dog park and big dog park and that is just nice. What do you recommend??

We had one in Alexandria back in March it was across from a libary and it was fun but there was no water fountain and the small dogs and big dogs played together.

Any ideas would be great

Thank you for the Welcome! Damion is going to be 4 on the 18th of November. The baby girl will be ready for us on the 8th of November.


HMMM I am trying to think about a park in VA. The one that you went to off of Duke Street across from the library was what I was thinking of. I am wondering if we do a search in VA for Parks and Dog Parks what it would bring up????

All we need is an agreed upon location that is large enough as to not hinder our celebration when the curious (those of a different ilk) enter into the scene to join in on the fun. What is the largest dogpark in Alexandria???

This link might be helpful I did a search for Alexandria and I have been to 1 of those parks, wondering if there is a phone number or a way to find out if they have a water area besides having to travel all the way there!
