I will keep watching this post and follow the bash information. I may be interested. My problem is juggling three or picking which one gets to go.

I like it I like it a lot!

I like the idea of letting anyone we see in any of the various forums know about our plans for a spring MD VA DC Boxer bash.

I have an open schedule when we plan this early in advance. I was thinking though...if people travel from far away, wouldn't Saturday be better? That way there wouldn't be a rush to leave early because they have to work on Monday. Just a thought. Also who wants to check out the park to find out about permits, whether reservations can be made, or fees are required etc? Anyone real close? Is there a park information telephone number for the Alexandria park? What's the name of this park anyway? smashicon :p :D

Hi Guys! I came upon this tread even before you had a chance to email. Thanks for thinking of us! Aimee, Lexi (and Bax) did so many cute things that day but I think this was the funniest. She was so brave until she discovered she was actually able to "act upon" that bravery which sent her running for cover. (Of course it was funny too when Baxter was thinking of giving Scarlet a little hump--had to be there folks-it was just the look on his face when he was "thinking" about it- Aimee & I both KNEW what was crossing his mind.) Anyway, once Lexi was off the leash she did fine and I think she will at this bash too.

The weekend of March 23-24 in an Alexandria fenced dog park is good for us. We are going away April 10-15. (I think thats the dates)

Sube, I live in Crofton. (15-20 minutes from you) If you would like to get together before then too, I'm game. In fact, before I even saw this thread I was thinking of emailing you to see if you would be interested.

Let's all keep this together so it happens. fiestaicon

Dpasto, Please bring all 3. We will all pitch in together to help. Or if you feel more comfortable, bring a friend/family member to help.

I think Robyn would be interested in this bash too. She lives in Maryland and has two Boxers to add to the group. But I think March is when her baby is due so maybe not good? Even so, I'll let her know about it in case she wants her husband to bring them for a day out.

Hi Peggy!!!

That would be awesome to get together... GUESS WHAT they just opened a dog park in Annapolis called Quiet Waters. if you go to this site go down a little on the page their is an article from the Post about it.

Hi Zsara!!!

I know what you mean about saturday the only thing is is that i know pat would love to come and he could help me out. i will probably be bringing tiger to this one and i can not control him on my own, pat is great with him though. plus i think someone else said something about sunday working best for them as well. But you know what, it really doesnt matter to me. i was just thinking about pat but i know what you mean about people traveling far. regarding getting info from the dog park and permits and such i will try to do as much as i can, the only thing is is that i am at work from 8:30 -5:00- i can do this type of thing at work (cause they dont know what i am doing) but talking on the phone is a little harder. but let me know if you want me to check into it :)

The Annappolis Park sounded wonderful...

Now we have 2 choices smashicon I work Mids so I understand what you are saying. The article on Quiet Waters) made it sound as if it was no big deal having dogs go just about anywhere inside the new park. But if we show up in numbers I think we still should check it out first. I am at work now on MIDS YUK so I will try to do some searches for both parks and see what I can find out.

Again Saturday and Sundays will work for me.beericon beericon Wouldn't it be too cool if we all wore the same T-Shirts like we were were in our own private club for the bash...... Just thinking out loud..Can't wait to meet all you nice folks. :p
