A Call to Boxer Lovers in MD DC VA areas

Nice DOGPARK! EZ to get to off 395 North
Blade and I got on the road coming from Fort Washington and met up with no real traffic crossing the Wilson Bridge. We followed the attached directions To 395 North toward DC. At the Shirlington exit there were maybe 3 turns and BOOM we were there! Blade had his hair raised as the last time when we went to the boxer beach bash he was bitten. But the 5 dogs present were Blade-Friendly
The park was about the size of the one in Alexandria and very clean. It backs up to a baseball field on a dead end street. This should be a nice BOO BOXERBASH if everyone tries to get out to meet and greet! See you there. Blade will be in disguise....

Hi. I am new to Boxerworld and I just found the Boxerbash threads. I am so sorry that I missed the bash in the Nova, Va, DC. MD area. I am in Richmond and would love to get together with other boxers and their owners. Please let me know when the next "Bash" will be, as Oscar, Chloe and I will definately be there!!
Someone please report back on how much fun it was!!!!

The next one will probably be in the Spring. The first bash had a lot of boxer babies show up. The others weren't as many as we had hoped, but those who showed up had a great time!

There are also pictures in the Boxer bash section from the first bash and the beach bash....... Hope to meet you soon.

Hi gang! I can't believe I've been away from this site for 2 months! And we missed the Halloween bash! We HAVE to attend the next one. Since I've last been online, we adopted another boxer girl. Ginger was born on 6/1/02. She's a flashy fawn and an absolute angel. She and Maggie get along great (most of the time ). They wear me out! We are in the process of having a garage built and with all the construction, the girls have not been able to go out and run. They have to settle for walks on the leash and they are not happy about it. I can't wait for warm weather so we can start planning the next bash! Sube Ru - I hope you're successful loading the pictures. I'd love to see them.

Hi everyone! My boxer Bruiser and I live in Frederick, MD. It's about 1hr15min from DC and a little over 3 hours from Richmond. My friends and I, who own 4 boxers all together, would all love to attend a boxer bash. I am interested in helping to get one organized. I plan to search for some dog parks in our area and will post another message soon.

In my search for dog parks in the area to possibly hold a boxer bash I found a good website. It is thedogpark.com and when searching I located 10 parks in MD and about 30 in VA. I guess it's just a matter of locating the best park which is in between everyone. In anyone wants to go to the site and check out the parks, I will be checking back or can be emailed at scrock213@aol.com
