A Call to Boxer Lovers in MD DC VA areas

Hi ...glad you are interested!

I have found that VA has the most dogparks in this area. The last couple of Bashes were low in attendance but I am sure as the weather breaks we will be ready to meet and greet again.

Bowie recently opened a dogpark and College Park has one where you have to pay to be a member. I haven't had an opportunity to visit either of them yet. If you look back at previous post you will see write ups of the parks we have held bashes in.

I loved our beach boxer bash in Annapolis MD because it has both a large and small dog park and a dog beach. Blade loved the water and now has a life preserver. The 2 places we have visited in VA were also very nice.

See if you can drum up some more interest, pick a month and count me in! Looking forward to meeting you and your boxer friends :D appicon wormicon

Hi,
I live in Springfield VA and would love to meet other boxer owners. My boxer Angus is 2. I am always afraid to socialize him with other dogs because he jumps around so much but I would love to meet some other boxer owners and their dogs so Angus could have some friends. First we must pick a month when the weather will be agreeable. March gives us plenty of time to plan. Then we need to pick a central location to meet. I'm not too sure where we could meet. Anywhere right out of DC is good for me. I really hate trying to drive in DC somehow I always seem to get truned around! :rolleyes:

We might be interested too! Our boxer, 16 mo. old Maddie, has never met another boxer and is in desperate need of socialization! We live about 30 minutes west of Baltimore and will travel to a bash. We are a bit nervous though because she has never met a dog her size, she has only been around little doggies and she tries to eat them. :( I'll keep tuning in to your plans and think about attending!

Yippee! I am so excited about the bash. We just got our Boxer boy Talus, and he will be so excited to see other boxers again! See everybody there!
