The reason my trainer didn't like chicken based kibbles is the hormones and other crap in chicken. He reccomended lamb based. My holistic vet said not to use lamb based. ( I cannot remember exactly why) there are as many ideas as there are experts. Muddling through is a daunting task. I think as long as your food of choice uses humane grade protein sourse then you cannot go too wrong.
